I’ve been enjoying the Prometheus coffee at home for awhile… it’s my absolute favorite coffee, and I’ve had the joy of getting some of the countries best coffee beans at renowned Puerto Rico Coffee importers in NYC, Blue Bottle, etc… this is still my favorite! Having moved across country 4 months ago, I haven’t been able to find anything good in my new locale, but was pleasantly surprised to discover Hyperion sells their coffee online and can ship it to me! Such a great place! I’ll miss not being able to visit the store, and smell the heavenly coffee being roasted, but having it shipped freshly roasted 1300 miles away is an nice option I’ll be taking advantage of! Hyperion has become a local legend here in Ypsilanti. If you're rolling through this is your place for a quick cup of coffee. But not just any coffee! It's Specialty coffee and it lives up to that title.You will be greeted by friendly staff that will get to know your name if you come in enough!Come in and admire the cozy tucked away shop and it's smart urban design that honors one of Ypsi's many cool historic buildings.You'll be tempted by the oatmeal raisin cookies, or perhaps a lemon bar! If you're really lucky there will be a brownie! One of my favorites is to walk in each time I go and wonder what special baked good will be available.
Best coffee in the area. There are always several varieties of single source coffee available, and I have never been dissatisfied with any of them. Some of the varieties cycle out after a little while, which is sometimes disappointing. Plus, every bag of beans comes with a free cup of coffee.
I have been serving hyperion coffee and espresso at a local A2 restaurant but have never actually gone in until today. And the vibe is absolutely otherworldly and just spot on. I asked for the best coffee drink and was wildly impressed. The miel is fantastic and I cant wait to go back to try more.They also had an amazing selection of specialty coffee making accessories and tools so I will be back for gifts this year. Just wow.
Lovely coffee shop and nice selection of drinks. I had the nitro cold brew and it was quite delicious. There's a few tables for seating as well as some picnic tables out front. I would definitely stop by again to enjoy another coffee or tea!
BEST coffee in Michigan made by some of the most beautiful people in Michigan. Seriously, it doesn't matter what flavor profile you fancy in your brew: the have it. And if they have the fig-oat bar when you're there, GRAB IT.
I am from Seattle, WA, which we all know if coffee capital and when I tell you this place has some of the best coffee I've ever had. Their espresso is SO smooth and delicious on its own! Their lattes/mochas are always the perfect amount of sweetness. Not to mention their food is actually really good! Vegan/gluten free can be a little sketch at times but everything here is so yummy. Not to mention the folks that work there are so so sweet and genuine!
Nice and spacious coffee shop with a cool vibe to chill and do some work if you feel to! Always looking for a space to chill out! Nice selection of coffees the caramel latte was a little too sweet for my sweet tooth!
