Ordered to go 2 fish dinners and a homemade turkey pot pie. Person taking order seemed to be irritated at the questions I was asking. Picked up food. Check order in car and NO TARTER sauce or ketchup. The fish was great but very small pieces. Salad was fine, no bread given on take out. Pot pie great. Had to go back in for tarter and ketchup, kinda bad attitude. Not many eat fish without tarter and only given 1 ketchup with 2 orders of fries. I am tired of to go orders without the stuff. I am tired of bad attitudes, prices have gone up totally understandable but you still need service. Food great will not go back again with poor service.
If you Dine Solo, expect to not get service. I had to hunt for my server because she just would not look up to be signaled. There was a table of six (the other server had) and me at the time. That's all. After going to the kitchen to ask for straw, napkins and hot sauce. I was brought a disgusting bottle of hot sauce that looks like it never been cleaned. After how many people used it? A Crusted mold of the inside cap. She brought out a bottle of ketchup for some reason with my breakfast, but I never asked for it nor did she ask if I'd need anything. Just drop and ran. Then I had to retrieve a straw for my water and napkins. Luckily an older couple was sat near me and the server had to pass by and offered me more coffee and water. If it wasn't for the other couple sat near me, I think I'd have to go beg for my bill. She seemed very non social, didn't want any interaction then the minimal required. It's a shame because I had remembered always enjoying bringing my family to Harvest Moon. The quality of product seem to have diminished as well. I agree with the reviews about very mediocre. But ,yes, she did bring me my order, bill and coffee and she wasn't seeming angry. I guess that's as good as it gets anymore. So thanks for not slamming things on the table. LoL ?
Stopped by as part of a long road trip. GREAT comfort food! The turkey pot pie was scrumptious, and the classic American club was wonderful. Definitely recommend! Plus the server and all staff were very friendly.
I like their food and staff are very kind. Restaurant is clean. I do wish they would add new things to their menu as choices seem limited even before Covid menu changes. Please consider adding more meatless options, expanding soup options, making salads bigger and offering more salad varieties, and adding baked spaghetti and black bean burger "reuben" back to the menu. It seems like most things on the menu are similar.
I had the classic cheese burger and fries, done crisp. My companion ordered the turkey dinner. My burger and fries were excellent. Huge portions and crispy fries. I have no opinion of the turkey entree, my companion is very picky and critical of most foods. So, I'm not posting his opinion, which I didn't feel were a fair reflection of his order.
The food was ok. But our waitress was awful. She wasn't that busy. The restaurant wasn't anywhere near full. She never came back to fill my coffee and never returned to our table to even to bring something that we had to flag her down to ask for. Terrible service yet again and the last straw. Too expensive to eat out to get such terrible service. The hostess was rude in her response when I explained our situation.
Ordered the Country Omelette with a side of bacon. Received a country skillet. I was offered to have it replaced with the omelette but since they were similar I elected not to wait. Then I tasted the food. It was very bland and there was no sausage and very little onion included with the skillet. The side of bacon was ok but a little under cooked.Bacon, English muffin and a cup of gravy were all delivered on separate plates so there was no room on the small table.The waitress and kitchen made this a very Un-enjoyable meal.
They serve breakfast until 3p. Love the Skillet & scramble options. Staff were pleasant & efficient. Great local restaurant.
They didn't have the ingredients to make the drink I wanted; fries taste like they were cooked in old grease, small menu.
We travel US-12 going from our home in Irish Hills to I-94. They have a full menu. I got breakfast, my wife got soup and salad. Both meals were delicious. The service is good. Good atmosphere. It is located on the north side of US-12 just before Carpenter. I wish they had Keno. We will return
