Don’t eat here if you have any allergies or religious restrictions. I placed an order for a bbq chicken calzone while eating it I realized that they added bacon to my food unknowingly to me. As a Muslim I felt disrespected for that reason I will never eat at D.P Dough
Really tasty creative food, I've ordered a few times and have yet to dislike something I've gotten. Their hours are my favorite part. I work 2nd shift and everything else is usually closed.
Fantastic place if you order just the calzones, they will forget anything else in the order
Pulled up to D.P. dough for a quick bite to eat. The menu had a variety of calzones to choose from but I decided to contruct my own along with my wife and I thought is pretty good for what they are trying to accomplish. I would visit again for the calzones.
ordered the zone of the day which had tots, bacon, and cheese with sour cream dipping sauce. it was extremely bland. dipped in sour cream was even more bland tbh. I was told I couldn't add any more toppings to add more flavor even though I was willing and expecting to pay more. tots were not crispy. it was like microwaved frozen hash browns.
D.P. Dough on 729 west cross street, Ypsilanti, Mi 48197!! They’re open from 4pm-4am everyday!! I finally found my after work place to eat and let me tell you what this place is amazing as well! Best calzone I’ve had in a while. I got the BBQ chicken calzone and it was amazing. This place is perfect for my hours when I get out of work because I don’t clock out until about 2:30am Thrilled that you’re open this late. About to be coming here everyday after work for sure. Keep up the great work! ???
I was curious to try the new restaurant on cross street, feeling hopeful that a calzone spot would bring a new addition to the cross street restaurant scene. Unfortunately, I was incredibly disappointed. The calzone was nothing to write home about. The BBQ dipping sauce was doing most of the heavy lifting in terms of taste. The tater tots were frozen tater tots heated up in a microwave. The chicken dunkers are frozen giant popcorn chicken pieces heated up in an oven. The chicken dunkers were not properly tossed (picture included). It is honestly offensive that such a poor quality restaurant is even trying to exist in Ypsilanti. You're better off going to thestore and buying frozen tater tots and frozen giant popcorn chicken.I’m not sure why I was hopefully that the restaurant that sat unopened with the lights on and trash clearly visible for months would be a good restaurant. Other google reviewers speak highly of this place, but I’m not convinced that they’re telling the truth. I have no idea how anyone could pay the prices they’re asking for and walk away thinking that they didn’t pay for the privilege of eating garbage.
It’s good. Despite statements made by certain detractors, calzones reign supreme over “pizza”, and d.p dough is a welcome ally in this battle. God bless America
Hearty sizes, quality ingredients with a very good taste. I am definitely going to be working my way through the menu for this place.
Food is garbage here. The garlic butter dipping sauce was just butter ? Better off going to little Caesars
