Hands down best cheesesteak I’ve ever had. I eat here a lot but this my first time getting a cheesesteak. I’m so glad I did! The fries was on point the fried corn (my fave) was on point crispy and not soggy and the spaghetti (my usual main course) was SO doggone good I was mad when it was gone. Y’all truly outdid yourselves tonight and it was well worth the 15 or 20 minutes I waited. Thank you guys for always making my tummy happy when nothing else sounds good I can always count on y’all to impress me.
Great comfort food. We had a big order and it was ready to pick up quickly. Everyone very much enjoyed their meals. The sides are classic dishes. I had the Tilapia it was fried perfectly.Don't let the location fool you, this is great food at a reasonable price.
Best soul food in this area (A2/Ypsi) by far... That Mac and cheese though..... Exquisite, with that delicious baked crust.
Cuppys use to be real good but they are putting to much damn salt on there food. Gumbo doesn't feel taste like it has file in it , just full of salt. then the last time I ordered spaghetti and greens and cabbage omg the collard greens where full of salt it was ridiculous worse spaghetti I have ever had. Food has potential but it seems like some one is being evil as hell packing salt in people food like come on ypsilanti do yall really want to keep yall jobs because it doesn't seem like yall know what cooking with love means
Wanted some soul food, but I just got some food tonight. Everything was bland, how French quarters make better Mac and Cheese than Cuppy’s very disappointed. My food was hot is the only good thing I can say…
I'm new in town and desperately missed the home cooked meals my family back home used to make this place was recommended to me by an employee at another establishment and I fell in love with their food it's the closest resemblance to my granny's cooking I've ever experienced ty for making me feel a little less home sick the food here is amazing
Impressive vegan and vegetarian options--no pork products and all the main sides are vegetarian. Loved the vegan catfish dinner (first time trying vegan fish and it was right on!) and the veggie hoagie was amazing. Friendly staff and great service!
I didn’t look at the prices and just ordered what I wanted over the phone, they said the bill was $30, I thought wow pricey. I got my food and started eating it, I heard violins and harps, my god that food was so darn good! It really was just delicious and worth every penny. Hands down the best soul food I’ve ever had anywhere!
Ordered a rib dinner with Mac and cheese and a side of greens and I was disappointed that it was not as good as I remembered. The only item that was hot (and edible) was the greens. Ever since they changed locations, the quality of the food has gotten worse. I really did love their rib tips(which are no longer on the menu ?) and the bbq sauce used to be great back in the day.
This place should be considered a national treasure. I love it. Food is so so so good.
