I really want to like this place. I would love to have a great Chinese buffet in town but unfortunately this place gave me severe food poisoning. I was in bed for two whole days with massive headaches and my mother was the same after eating here.
It was good, 15 dollars for buffet without drinks, the restaurant was clean, the environment was super chinese restaurant like and the entrance gives you like good vibes
Had gone here for over 10 years. Today was my last visit. Styrofoam plates, discourteous hostess, not enough service staff, COLD food, and prices raised. Some of our group had the buffet, some had dim sum. Only consistency was the COLD food for both. Was 4-4.5 stars in the past. Now at best at 2 stars.
I don't usually post critical reviews, everybody can have a bad day, but I was very dissappointed and honestly a little concerned by my visit yesterday afternoon 4/10/22. The food on the buffet was cold and unappetizing, and looked as if it had not been changed or refilled in quite a while. I took one bite of the room temperature fried fish and had to spit it out. I had a similar experience with much of the rest of the buffet offerings and decided not to risk it.
A very serviceable Chinese buffet. The honey chicken and fried potatoes were both quite good, the egg drop soup and crab Rangoon were okay, and the only off note I tried was the braised pork. The decor was interesting, and the kids had a good time. Not everything was super clean, but the servers were pleasant. Overall, very okay.
My husband and I recently visited for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised at how good a lot of the food was. Not all of the food was great, but most of it was really tasty. We ended up going back twice before moving out of state. I wish we lived closer just so I could go back again!
This place was great! Great food and service. Hidden gem in Ypsilanti.
I usually avoid American-Chinese buffets with good reason.Sub-quality food that is poorly cooked.I heard and read that this restaurant was good so I decided to break my rule of avoiding buffets and give it a try. There were a few decent dishes with the remainder being nondescript and disappointing. The variety was very sparse.I did enjoy their hot-and-sour soup which was the highlight of the meal.I will say the second best that I have had in South Eastern Michigan. We spent $60 for the four of us.I left full but not content.I should have ordered take-out from my local restaurant instead. Will I be going back ?No. But if I had to dine at this restaurant again it wouldn't be the end of the world.
The food is good. The staff is there but not very attentive. I wish I could write an amazing review but this place has changed and not for the good. I admit we go for the food and put up with the rest. They now use a flimsy plate not paper but the other cheap one, they use to use glass plates. They charge more now it seems but offer less selection less quality than before and the staff not all but a couple are rude and if you have a bad experience and choose to not leave a tip they will follow you asking for it.
Just had Dim Sum for dinner. The food was good and service was good. We didn’t wait that long either.
