They advertise the best fish fry in West Michigan, and man this did not disappoint! Great flavor on the breading and the fish is fresh. The service was good as well. Very prompt and polite. I love hush puppies and these were also on point.
I highly recommend The Grand Rapids Fishery. The staff were very friendly, the dine in area was very clean with a separate area with condiments that was convenient, and most of all have to say the food was delicious ? and reasonably priced. I was very pleased with my first time dine in experience, and will definitely be going back.
We ordered take out dinners and as always we were not disappointed. The fish and sides are always hot and crunchy. We have been getting food here for over 10 years and they have never messed up an order! Great people!

5 Stars food is really good had Smelt & Fries seasoned just right. Remodeled the store more open inside seating or sit outside when it's nice. The opened up the front more room looks great KUDOS Nick & crew. Better management now!!!

The fish is fresh and not over battered, greasy, or overly-seasoned, which is hard to come by with fish fry. I had the orange roughy, but excited to come back to try the red shrimp. (Surprised it is on the menu, since its not on most menus.) Oh, and for someone who hates tartar sauce, I learned to love their homemade tartar sauce.Been around for 40 years... come by to support this GR-based, small business! You'll walk away smiling!
We're out-of-towners from Indy and this place DID NOT DISAPPOINT! This joint had well-battered shrimp, fresh lake perch, and really juicy orange roughy! The spicy tarter sauce is ? and so was the cocktail sauce. Would definitely recommend ???
Very good Walleye basket for lunch today. Place was clean, staff was friendly and helpful.The food was very good, served promptly and hot. Prices were reasonable. Our first time at GRF, and will return soon to try again. Eat in or carryout.
