I love the food here, but the fact that you have to stay in a 20 min line to PAY is ridiculous. I ordered over the phone and took longer then what they said only to wait another 20 minutes for my food. Suggestion.... Tacos El Caporal you should have another line for take out orders. Isn't that why ppl order over the phone so it's faster?
I've always enjoyed coming here until now. I just picked up a take out order and they shorted me 3 tacos. I called back and they to me that I could come right back to get it or I have a week to pick it up. I informed the lady that I was at work and will not be able to come back to pick it up. I told her that I did not know if I would be able to come pick up the tacos in a week and asked for an extension or a refund on them. She asked the manager and said that they would not do that.
Placed an order to go and was told 35 minz it will be ready so I noticed it was busy as I was packed outside in front of the door . I figured I better give them extra time so I waited 40 minutes for one sandwich and a drink , went in and was told it wasn't ready yet and to get in back of the line of about 30 people ahead of me???, so I was disappointed and left without my food and waited for nothing. Will never spend my money here again!!!! I went straight to marys tamales where the food is excellent quality and service is only 15 min wait , I recommend marys tamales has much wider selection of quality comida mexicana
Authentic Mexican food. Have eaten here many times. Really like the food. Especially the Tamales, they are homemade! If you come late in the day, sometimes they run out. The Alambres is also really excellent!
Place has went down so bad. Bad quality of meat. Had tendons, fat and was hard and almost fell like old and new meat was mixed. I won’t go back. 24.00 for 2 burritos that were inedible. I asked for enchilada sauce on the side and they sent it in the bag cold. If I’m riding, how do I warm it ?.
Wait on the weekends is sometimes super long for take out but there’s a reason. Authenticity for tacos is what makes the wait worth it. Been coming here since I could remember. If you like sweet and savory, try their hawaiian torta.
The food was far superior to what I was expecting. Really curbed my hunger ☺️Just be patient if you go during a Saturday evening rush. Lots of people supporting local businesses ?
Quick service and good food. Tamales were very good, good portions. Busy place di e in and take out.
Been going here for years. Love the place, people, and food! They have awesome tamales, el ombre, burritos amid so much more. It's all yummy plus you get cooked green onions, lime,radish, jalapeño on side. Love love love it!
Best authentic Mexican food, it’s SO good! I always have great food and quick service when coming here. The green onions are out of this world!
