Finally giving up on this place. Its been going down hill for years but after the last visit I am done. They closed ALL of the drive in spots now. half of them are covered in chains so you couldnt even park there to eat your meal. My order was correct and after the long wait I was excited that id be getting fresh food. Wrong. The burger patties were cold and dry, lettuce was just chunks of the white hard bottom stuff, the corndog was burnt, and fries soggy. What was I even waiting on?
Asked for no cheese or onion on my burger... Instead got only cheese and onion. Was in a hurry didn't have time to go back to ask for a fix. Only 2 cars in the drive thru and it felt like it took forever for us to get our food.
Finally tried this place. Pretty good!Only thing is I still don't understand the onion rings. They're ridiculous. I've never experienced onion rings quite like those before. My taste buds were both confused and delighted. The tater tots also surprised me. I'm not usually a fan, but Sonic's tots are next-level. Their cheddar jalapeño poppers are bomb. Chicken tenders were juicy and crispy, otherwise perfectly standard.Oh, and there was even friendly service at the window. Overall definitely worth a visit.
Order wasn't right. Shake was supposed to chocolate I got vanilla with strawberry flavored mixed. My double cheeseburger just didn't taste good meat had a off taste.
We were at the drive thru today and were given the wrong drinks, no big deal. We explained to the very sweet young lady in the drive thru that we had the wrong drinks and Robert the "manager" started to yell at this poor young girl in front of me and my fiance as well as other co-workers! If a mistake was made then yes, absolutely train them for next time but that is SO embarrassing and pathetic to treat your employees like that, and we wonder WHY this industry is lacking in employees. Robert, you need to do better. I never got the young ladies name but Sonic does NOT deserve you. I called to speak with Robert and he was incredibly rude. He didn't even want to give me his name because he knew he messed up... love Sonic and the food but that guy needs to chill out!
We visited this location after seeing commercials and app ads for the slushy float. Unfortunately a very annoyed drive-thru cashier told us that the slushy floats can only be ordered on the app and the pickle fries are not available at this location. My husband ordered the next day (on the app) and all of the parking spaces were roped off so he couldn’t even park in one to have the order brought out. He had to go to the locked door to tell them he had an order to pick up. Nothing at this location seems to make sense or be easy to access.
This rating is only due to the staffing shortages everywhere. I know it isn't their fault but having drive-thru only at a place that has always had that drive in booth, then have the car-hop skate your order out to you nostalgia is what makes a Sonic Drive-In a drive in. Same goes for all Sonics on this side of the state.It also is a bummer that they close sooner now because of that staff shortage. It will get better with time, but until then 3 stars it is.
I haven't eaten here ever since I got the poor service I received a few years back, me and my family went to order from here one day, they started to take our order but then they acted like they just closed right in the middle because we waited for 30 minutes and never got a response. I'm sticking with McDonald's.
People at the drive thru were rude, and service took way too long. I understand there is a staffing shortage but this is probably the fastest way to lose costumers.
Good food. Friendly staff. Car-Hop ordering stations were closed off, so we had to use the drive through.
