Unless you want their pho (which is amazing) don't waste your time. Overpriced, sub-par ala carte asian food
Not sure how to rate. We go here atleast 1x month but everytime we order the same thing and end up with diff stuff. For example...last time we ordered the egg rolls. They came thin...almost like a taquito and was very good. So this time we ordered many more because they were small but then they sent the other ones.....so...it seems it depends on who is working whether you will get what you order or something completely different. Also portions never the same. One day it will be enough for 2 meals and the next time only one.
I don't really have anything good to say. I don't think the heat was on. Even the waitress was wearing a coat. I ate with mine on. The food didn't have any flavor. It might have been acceptable if the price was $7, but I spent $20.??? ? It should have been a sign that the parking lot was empty at 6 PM. I won't be back.
I am originally from Michigan but I live in Texas and have yet to find an Asian cuisine remotely comparable to Golden 28. Whenever a family member from grand rapids comes to visit I beg them to bring me Singapore noodles and Vietnamese egg rolls. Any of the pho dishes are excellent. My goal is to try every dish on their menu. I simply love this restaurant ?

My family and I have loved eatting here for many years. It has been the best place for both take out and dine in. The food is always amazing!

I'm a Chicago Girl, living in Michigan and this is by far the best Asian food I've had in West Michigan. Delicious Pho, amazing Beef and chicken dishes. Plus, the quality of the produce and meat is excellent.
Raised prices, blaming covid, pho has been mostly broth, place is really going down hill lately. $13 for mostly broth.
Food was delicious and fresh! Service was excellent and a short wait time. We can’t wait to come back again!!
