My fiance and I went to The Waterfront Wyandotte for dinner a couple of weekends ago. I wanted to go somewhere that had a patio, overlooking water, with a breeze, and a glass of wine. This place checked all of those boxes and even had live music.Little did we know we were in for an interesting night. I started off by ordering a glass of Reisling. When it was delivered to my table, the glass had a thumb size smudge of white stuff on the side of it. I told our waitress and she immediately remedied the issue.*Picture of the clean glass of wine attached. We put in an order for a chicken sandwich and fries, spinach artichoke dip, a Caesar salad, and chicken marsala with wild rice and broccolini and carrots. We then waited about 20 minutes and our appetizer was not out. Our waitress offered to get us a bread basket and about 10 minutes later had warm bread. We devoured the bread within minutes and the appetizer finally came out. Our waitress was kind and apologized for the wait. After about another 20 minutes, our dinner was served. We were extremely underwhelmed. He shared that his sandwich and fries were okay if you are them quickly. I tried the chicken marsala and the flavor was not quite what I was expecting. I didn't take a picture as the plating looked like the food was just slid on the plate and splattered with sauce. It was not the best I've ever had. I'm a chicken marsala lover and my standards are a bit high. The sauce was more like a thick gravy and the marsala wine was not pulling through as much as it could. The chicken was moist and tender. When I tried the broccolini, carrots, and wild rice, it was cold. It was almost like it had either been sitting out for the entire time we were waiting for pulled from the fridge and missed a reheat cycle. The Caesar salad never even made it to the table and it is quite possible that was for the better at this point.Aside from the food experience, our waitress was attentive, kind, and doing her best to manage all of her tables, given the situation. She made our experience alright. Combined with her good attitude and the atmosphere, it was a neat place to be. However, the food, wait, and management of the restaurant could be better.Lastly, if you are in a time crunch, this is not the restaurant for you. It took a while for tables to be bussed and new patrons to be seated.

Indoor outdoor dining. Great for large partiy groups. Water Tiki Bar next door $60 for 2 hrs.Celebrating cousins birthdayFantastic food & Friendly Waitstaff

We went on a Saturday evening. When we first arrived, we were told it was a 2 hours wait (we were a fairly large group). It ended up being about 50min. The seating was right on the river front which makes this place a rarity in the region.Food was okay - standard fare. I had the salmon burger which was a thick patty with a hard crispy shell and a soft somewhat awkward filling. Their fries were goodPrices were higher than I expected. We were charged $21 for a bowl of shrimp cocktail appetizers (almost $4 per shrimp).I would definitely go back for the waterfront seating, but just not on a Saturday night...

An awesome experience.I celebrated my birthday at The Waterfront and the experience was amazing. The ambiance, the drinks and the food was delicious.disclaimer: We had a large party so the food took a little longer than expected, but I had no complaints because it was my birthday and who wants to rush that ? The evening was perfect.Yes I would recommend.

Great atmosphere..... band was good.... my salmon was cooked just right, would have liked food a lil hotter when arriving.

We have been here before and have had above average food & service, but we returned for the riverfront views. However, this visit was so disappointing that I don't know where to begin. First, the "manager" would not allow us to put the umbrellas down at our table of 7 after the sun had gone down, ok no big deal... but here is where it went down the hill. We ordered (2) Spinach Artichoke Dip appetizers and this was nothing more than cold spinach & artichoke soup that should have been introduced to an oven or at the very least... a microwave. We ordered 7 dinners ranging from Broiled Salmon, Pasta Alfredo, Chicken Piccata and New York Strip. Four of our meals were served and then 2 of our meals were served 20 minutes later and the last meal was served 10 minutes after that. I always try to be considerate especially during these times of staff shortages, supply chain issues, etc., but this server just didn't know the menu and I just didn't feel that the manager was very accommodating with the seating. I am not giving them a lower rating because the Salmon and NY Strip was actually pretty good and they did make an adjustment on my guest check. However, I would prefer to have a good experience and pay full price. I believe that this restaurant has what it takes to be a much better venue, however, it will be a long time before I try this restaurant again. There are so many other fine dining options in Wyandotte to settle for average or below average.

It was my wife’s birthday

My steak was very bland and I’m happy they did take it off the bill. I would have like to known the kitchen when the kitchen was closing. I was still hungry when I left and the waiter didn’t really care. He was very clear that he was ready to leave. I’m hoping that maybe cause we came later in the evening is the reason we didn’t have gray service.

Great place to dine. We loved it and we 1000% be going there on a more regular basis.

Our server Anna did a phenomenal job!!!!
