We, party of 9, had Easter dinner at Magdaleno’s this year and it was Amazing. We are talking about making this our new tradition now that our family gathering is smaller. The atmosphere was great. It was busy but we didn’t feel crowded at all! Our waitress was fantastic! Then the food: salad, pasta, ham, kielbasa, chicken, some kind of fancy (delicious) potatoes, broccoli & spinach, the cannolis for dessert. Everything was served family style and absolutely delicious. Even the younger kids ate everything. We also got a pitcher of sangria. It was a very very generous portion. We love Magdaleno‘s anyway, but we were all very very happy with Easter dinner. We recommend it 100%!!
Dont waste you time or money, food is tasteless and cold..over priced pig slop... Anyone that thinks this food is good, doesn't know what good food taste like... Run dont walk... Bad food, Bad Service...
Awesome experience. The staff was super nice and attentive. The food was amazing-we ordered the cheese appetizer, the pasta split dinner, and the carbonara and everything was outstanding. We would absolutely recommend this place!!
Went for a baby shower! Food was delicious! Unfortunately, since it took so long for the food to be served we couldn't watch the mother and father open gifts ugh! They only give a two hour spot for this type of party??
I’ve been here 3 times now with my family and friends. The food is delicious, the staff is always friendly and professional. This has definitely become my preferred destination for excellent Italian cuisine.
On Thanksgiving, me and family dined here. The dinner consisted of turkey, steak, stuffing, cranberries, mashed potatoes and gravy and a choice of pie. I was quite impressed with my meal, except for the stuffing. It was all-you-can-eat, which was $35 per person. And that seems like a lot, but for what you got, it was well worth it, in my opinion. The turkey was meaty and juicy, the steak had great taste, and the mashed potatoes were smooth and flavorful. So definitely a thumbs up in my book for this meal. Now many of you reading this review, aren't going to be dining here on Thanksgiving and will be getting Italian food when attending Magdalenos. I get that. So prior to this wonderful Thanksgiving meal, they also served mostaccioli and that was top notch. It was a little al dente, which I normally don't prefer, but it was prepared very well and tasted fabulous. In a way, the al dente texture was actually a little refreshing. So while I haven't had a chance to try much of their signature Italian dishes, I can tell you that their food is high quality and is all served with good blended flavors. And despite their higher prices, it is worth it. I will definitely be back to try more items on their menu.
Best Italian food around, the prices are great and the staff was decent. I've been doing brunch on Sundays and can't wait to try the lasagna!!!
My family and I had our first dinner here and it was an amazing experience from the food to the service to the ambience. We would highly recommend Magdaleno’s.
I recently went to Magdaleno’s and tried their festive holiday drinks with dinner. They were great! My favorite was the Cranberry Fireball drink (it has a fancier name on their menu). I loved it so much I called them to compliment them on it. Jenika picked up the phone, was appreciative of the compliment, and said she created the drink! She was also kind enough to share with me how she makes the drink. I am grateful for that, as I can make it for when I’m visiting family out of state for the holidays. When I’m back in Michigan, I’ll certainly go back to Magdaleno’s and ask for the same drink with dinner next time. Highly recommend.
Had a reservation at Magdalena last night for my mom’s 83rd birthday. She was really excited as she wanted to have the veal dish there. We got there on time for a 7pm reservation. We stood for 5-10 minutes waiting to finally be seated by a very rude hostess who actually turned out to be our waitress also. Once she sat us, she did not come back for 15 minutes. Not even to take a drink order! The restaurant was not busy! She was waiting on two other tables of two guests each. There were 5 of us. She just didn’t want to wait on us I guess. When she finally came, I explained it was my mom’s 83rd birthday and this poor service was ruining our time. She hadn’t even asked us for drinks and we been there a half hour! She had a poor attitude and there was no genuine apology for lack of service. Very disappointed but we had to leave. Went down the street to RPs where the service was top notch. Won’t return here so disappointing.
