I live in Oak Park and I saw this Lunch Wyandotte restaurant on the news. I go to the doctors in Wyandotte. So I thought to myself I need to stop and try it out. What an awesome little place. Food is great!! I ordered a number eight with potato salad and a diet Coke. Everything was delicious. I have a hard time breathing so they even brought it out to my car. Great place. A must try!! ?? ?
I ordered chicken sandwich. It was by far the worst I’ve ever had. Sloppy made. The chicken mixture was out of the can. And there was more cheese and lettuce and tomato’s than chicken salad. I also ordered Italian wedding soup it was out of a can and full of oil. Blew my mind. Never had the soup with oil in it. Never again first and last time.
Great local sandwich shop. Ready quickly. Tastes great, oil and onion complemented the meat and bread perfectly. Got 12 meat, half the sandwich was plenty enough for lunch. Very tasty local alternative to the chains
I had the best experience! The staff is awesome. The food is great quality, fresh, and made when ordered. These sandwiches are crafted with some amazing meats and cheeses complimented by a soft bread. The dressing just sets it all off! I say this with the highest regard... if you want something comparable to gonellas without venturing through the hood then I highly recommend this place! The salads are equally delicious! The uncle Ray's chips are the icing on the cake.
Yesterday, I ordered LUNCH for our office to celebrate a few birthdays. It was fantastic. We ordered (4) 12 layer subs and they were massive. Everyone is eating them for lunch today as well! So delicious. Great idea for a group!
First time customer and I have to say it’s Great Italian sub and friendly customer service..
Really wanted to love this place. I’ve tried it 3 times, twice at the shop and once on DoorDash. I always order my sub without lettuce and without onions and keep the tomato. Everytime I’ve ordered, I receive my sub and it has lettuce and onion on it. This time through doordash it had lettuce and onion and no tomato, and I didn’t receive the chips I ordered. Won’t be trying a fourth time
The place is great for a quick sandwich. I think the sub needs a bit more zing to it, maybe some banana peppers. I asked for extra sub dressing on the side. I was charged for it but they didn't include it.
This place is so darn good.Also the man that made our sandwiches was so nice.We will be back soon!Thanks for a great little sub shop.
