I had Wednesday's Special - Wet Burrito, and an order of Flour Chips for Salsa.Wife had Chicken Mushroom Quesadilla.Chicken was over seasoned, and not good.We had dinner around 6 p.m., and at the time, my meal was quite delicious.2 a.m. rolls around, and this strange taste of peanut oil developed in my throat and mouth, strong enough to wake me.2:30 rolls around and had to run to the bathroom, which end first was the big decision!My previous rating of Amigos was 4 years ago, and 5 star, my new rating is 1 star, and will say AVOID AT ALL COST! Friendly service horrible food. Beef dry and chicken smelled funky. What happened used to be a place to go if in area. Now won't return
Everyone deserves to know the truth so please bare with me. For 2+ years I've ordered a Mexican pizza 1 or 2 times a month on Thursday, when they have the special half off. I would make one change, I ordered with chicken instead of beef. They always made it clear that I would pay $2 extra for the chicken even though I didn't order beef but I would still receive the half off price so I figured I was still getting a deal! My last time ordering was about a month ago, and the manager (blonde woman with glasses), whom I ordered from before, said "this would be the last time I received that deal because I wasn't ordering the special!" I stated that I hadn't had a problem before and I am still ordering the special, just changing the meat and paying $2 extra for the chicken even though chicken is cheaper than beef! She said "that wasn't true, beef is cheaper than chicken!" Anyone who has ever went shopping for meat knows chicken is cheaper than beef! So now I have the "manager" of a place I've given hundres of dollars to for some chicken and beans making it clear that I'm no longer welcome to spend my money there. I'm sure I can make a better pizza myself, thank you for the motivation!

Love this Mexican food place. Been around a long time. They use to have dine in. But since covid they found they can do just as well without dine in service. ( less staff, no need to wash dishes, and safer.
We ordered from here when our normal Mexican restaurant was closed. The food was very good. Ordering was easy. Staff was courteous.
Take Out Only right now but food is always Hot, good presentation, and tastes great. Have been going to Amigos Restaurants for 41 years!
You people below making reference below to a staff member calling someone a COW are grossly misinformed and if you would have spoke to someone up there instead of whining on here and making false assumptions , you would know that COW is an acronym for Carry Out Waiting used at many restaurants for years. Yes, it could use some tweaking now due to over sensitive people in todays world, but none the less is not meant to be derogatory towards anyone. Ever.Plus Misty is Hot!The Staff has always been courteous and never a complaint with the food.
