Used to love going here but on 6/7/22 my wife and I went to getsome breakfast.As we were eating our food we witnessed one of the kitchen staff drop a piece of toast on the ground. She picked it up and then preceeded to butter it and place it in a to-go order bag.After witnessing that, we will never eat here again.
A nice diner. Friendly staff and decent food, especially for the prices.It's definitely an older location, everything's clean but there's some slight general wear and tear.
Ancient and not tasty.Good things first - everyone of the staff was very friendly and engaged.It's very unique and somehow original.But it's very old, not renovated and therefore really not comfortable.We had a big portion of food on our plates (Omelette and Corned Beef Hash), but it wasn't tasty at all.Sorry to say that.
Food is pretty good and the waitress was nice. Soup was a bit too thick for my liking.
Very poor service ordered my food and I get a salad. Take a bite of the salad and I have a hair in my mouth I thought I was going to throw up! She offered me another salad it was her hair long blonde and hanging all over the place. Offered me nothing. I asked to speak to a manager and this girl comes back out. Some manager she was. All I got was 10% off my meal. WOW I'll never go back here ever again. Nasty
Nice little cozy diner where regulars are greeted by name and have the best prices on breakfast with homemade hash browns daily. This is ideal for eating on a budget.
Family owned and operated. These people are so kind and care that you have a good dining experience. Great menu, something for everyone. Try the all you can eat fish on Firdays.
I leave Feeling Swindled, Ripped Off, and Taken advantage of. Yes, they can blame Door Dash and Pass the buck down the line all they want, and they demonstrated thet they sure DO want, but they never even offered to make it right. Call Door Dash, they said, Not our problem. An offer of an order of Chocolate Chip pancakes would gave made it right, in my eyes. But "Call Door Dash" was the callous response I was given.Let me explain. Im new to working in the area, so I google somewhere to eat, and come across this place. I click order online option from Google maps and notice that whether I choose delivery or pickup I have to sign in through doordash either way. Okay makes no difference to me I'm going to pick it up so doordash isn't going to have any involvement I guess this is just the way they do it. Big mistake to assume that, don't ever assume anything but anyway fortunately I had to go back on the site to look at something I was considering ordering something else but what I had noticed is that not only did you have an option from their website to order straight from the restaurant but also that the order that I placed through doordash included its jacked up prices even though doordash didn't f****** deliver it. So now I've paid doordash has inflated prices even though they haven't had anything to do with my order at all oh, and I figure I just get that taken care of when I went to the restaurant. Boy was I wrong about that. The response I got at the restaurant was essentially yes you paid too much and nope we're not going to do anything about itCall Door Dash.Oh I most certainly will be doing that as well But, With all the other places around I dont think I could justify ever actually spending money at Westland Family Dining again.
