I have for years passed by this place but never tried it, man what I have been missing out on. This place has the best fish and chicken in the whole area, you guys just gained a customer forever, keep the good work up!
First off let me say I came in with my three kids to order food. They have the best customer service which was amazing, very respectful and patient with me and my kids. My daughters wanted fish and shrimp and my son and I wanted the chicken, and we got some pasta salad with it and other sides which all in all was amazing. Let me tell you there’s something about that lemon pepper seasoning the food was yummy and great. Cooked to perfection. These people know what they are doing I recommend them 100% to anyone hungry out there. Thank you very much for this wonderful experience and delicious food.
Best chicken & shrimp that I’ve had in Westland! Flavorful, crispy, and just plain delicious! Fish is ok. Staff is always pleasant & courteous.
I ordered the catfish meal with okra. It was too much lemon pepper on the fish. In addition, the fish had a weird texture. It's hard to describe it. The outer part of fish resembled frying scales of the fish. I literally was able to keep the entire outer part in tact, while pulling the mushy fish meat out. I was very disappointed, and questioned myself if it is actually catfish or another water creature. The only good parts of the meal were the fruit punch and okra. It was a waste of $13.57. I didn't bother to return the meal to restaurant because I didn't want a replacement. This is my first and last time.
The first time I ordered here, late last year, it was the best chicken and fish and I couldn't believe I hadn't heard of this place before. The last several orders have been disappointing though. Too much salt or seasoning containing salt. Even requesting light salt this last order (yesterday) the food was very salty to the point I wasn't able to finish it. When we get food here it is a treat for working hard all week on a Friday, as it isn't exactly cheap for deep fried food. Yesterday I thought I would give the dessert a go and got pineapple upside down cake. It was the worst pineapple upside down cake I have ever had. I am guessing it was good weeks ago because it seemed very old and dense. I only ate one bite. I would give another try in the future based off of the perfection of the food that first time, but it will be a while after yesterday's experience.
I had frog legs for the first time I'll taste like white meat chicken..... I would say if they get some spice they rival popeyes it was so good.... I'll tell all my friends about this place
The food was just okay I thought I was getting catfish dinner but the fish didn't taste like catfish so I don't think I'll be going back there anytime soon
Ordered the 5pc wings and a side of Mac and cheese. The chicken was Fresh but had very little flavor. It looked just like the pics with lemon pepper and still had little to no flavor. if there was such a thing as diet or light flavored chicken this would be it. It's like a light flavored Simply lemonade vs a regular Simply lemonade. I even prayed and blessed my food before eating and my chicken still didn't have any flavor, smh. Due to the chicken being fresh I'll only rate it a 2/5. You are better off going somewhere in Detroit for some lemon flavored fried chicken my dawgs. The Mac and cheese was just HORRIBLE ?. It was bland with no flavor at all! Whoever made my food on Friday January 14th, 2022 at Krispy's Fish and Chicken 8215 N Wayne Rd, Westland, MI 48185 around 5-6:30pm I'm praying for you. please take my comment and experience into consideration. Lastly, I'm disappointed by the large hole cut into the side of my box. like why????? Who does this????
Not only is it fast but it is equally as delicious. The fries are crispy and perfectly seasoned. The chicken is equally crispy, juicy and delicious. The shrimp is great and so is the calamari. If you are in the are I highly recommend ordering here.
We had perch combo and frog legs. I think they are working to fast because the coleslaw and bread were missing from the order. Fish was good, the Mac and Cheese was watery , so I suggest to just buy the meat. DO NOT BUY SIDES. Make your own. Unable to reach restaurant to let them know of the missing items, but phone was always ringing busy.
