The food at the Westland, Michigan wasn't as hot as it could be but did taste pretty good. Unfortunately good food or not, the bathroom was disgusting and had a horrible stench! Wet toilet paper on the floor, toilets that wouldn't flush all the way. Waste basket full, water all over the counters , floors and just overall littered. Oh and don't forget the melted ice cream on the floor and in the toilet. After eating this was the last thing I wanted to see. For the expense, the bathroom could at least be half decent to bring my grandchildren into.To end I must say that the cashier was great
Because I really like this place I decided to give it another try at another location which turned out to be very rewarding, back to the way it was before the pandemic. They had a larger menu and the food was great and freshly prepared, from the roast beef, fried chicken, fried fish and the sides. Great salad bar... with fresh lettuce and lots of add on's which included a great crab salad...sweet melons and strawberries, etc. Will go back soon.
Food, very very good taste, I have to say it. The service was decent, average but those who cooks (The Chefs) with a very bad attitude, nothing decent or good for such a well-known restaurant. Women's bathroom too dirty, without order or cleanliness.
Price slightly increased I expected it. One think I realized that not every Golden Corral has the same menu so if you like a certain place make sure to come back to the same location. Entrance is really wide for the wheelchair it is easy access to turn it around as well. Tables design low to make it easy to reach from the wheelchairs ♿
I went their last night to eat with my family and let me just say food was not cooked. Just awful. I then started no feeling good and beginning to throw up all night and have the runs. I know for sure I had food poisoning. Ten minutes later both my husband and son started to follow the trend of sickness. I would not recommend everyone to waste 50 dollars on that nasty place. It was not only the food the bathrooms were so dirty. And the celling was leaking water on someone food so gross.
Ratchet to say the least. Went an hour and a half before closing. The cashier was eating ice cream as she was speaking to the guests and ringing them up. When I got to my table, the waitress was nowhere in sight. I sat down with my food without utensils or my drink. Another waitress stepped up and helped us who in the end received a generous tip. Near closing, the waitresses were walking around and grabbing cupcakes and laughing and talking like they didn't have to be professional as if they do this all the time. Big kudos to the waitress that stepped in but we will not be returning.
The food was pretty good and kids under 4 eat for free. Our first waitress was very friendly and attentive and having a 2 year old, we were there longer then the average person. When shift changed happened, the waitress was kind and introduced our next waitress who was also amazing.
Mother's Day at this restuarant was disappointing I wish I would have stayed home and cooked even though it was Mother's day. Of course we knew it was going to be packed I was patient no worries they did have signs about seating no jumping in line etc. Some families did not comply. When I went to fix my plate I noticed they were dumping fresh pans of food on top of old food. THAT IS A BIG NO NO i worked in the food industry you get rid of that old food 1st there should have been an expired time to toss the food take the old pan to the wash area bring out the new pan with an expired time that has in the food area. Come on Golden Corral cross contamination you can make some sick then a fight broke out with 2 older ladies by the dessert bar 2 police cars and an ambulance REALLY!!! It used to be nice now its THE GHETTO!!!!
The place was awesome, a little crowded and some of the items weren't available like ( steak) but we made do. Food and service were great
