Raised in Westland born in Detroit lets just say there was Tophat, Bates, Brays and White Castle burger stands locally available at any area of the tri-county from Detroit. I have lived in many countries and states and its never been duplicated. Another point worth noting is also all of the pizza chains are from Detroit as well coincidence? I THINK NOT! I might be a little prejudice. Wow I think I'm gonna make a slider company in the south... We need it! Love your Belly busters...oh and after a night of drinking and this combination you might not have to friends who like to hang out with ya the next day. A small side effect for perfection. Holy smokes! I’m so hooked. My husband brought Burgers home from here last week. Yesterday I was in the area and snagged some up for dinner, even though I had a meal in the crockpot. I’m surprised to see all the negative reviews. I live about 20 miles away and I would drive to Bray’s right now to get some more. ?
Incredibly fast service and delicious food! Those young kids in there were all working hard and doing an amazing job! The young man who was running the window really impressed me! Talked faster than I may have ever heard a person speak, repeated the order and was accurate! Everything was correct, hot, and speedy!
The last time I went to Bray's, I loved it. (Hence the 5 stars).However, I tried to stop in during their posted hours on 2/6 and the doors were locked. There was even one car in the lot, but no one inside.I am guessing that this is Covid-related, either supply chain for ingredients, or trouble getting employees. Either way, I hope it is resolved soon.
I hadn't been to Bray's, since before the pandemic. I bought two burgers. One of the burgers was so burnt, I didn't finish it.? Super disappointed. There are SO many other places to buy sliders here.I will choose one of them next time.?
This is a good old stand by.Burgers are always good.Beats other places that schlep sliders.I wish they would change out there fries.They always have an after taste from the freezer.Besides that, give it a go.
This is a honest review! I had Brays two years ago and I went right when they opened for the day and it tasted like they didn’t clean off their grill completely because all 10 of my cheeseburgers specials ALL tasted like cleaning product. I automatically two years ago said never again!So 12/30/21 I gave them another try because hey why not most fast food quality is mediocre anyway it can’t be too bad. Nah, it was still bad…..the burgers taste like they were pre made and was sitting under a heater waiting to be ordered by the bunch “10 burger specials” is what they call them. The buns were stale, the onions were bitter, the pickles….the pickles I don’t even know what that was! I ordered 10 burgers and threw 7 away! Never again in life will I ever eat at Brays again but hey someone is keeping them in business ??♂️
For me, the grilled onions give the burger a great taste. I understand supply shortages is our new way of life now. This time they sprinkled on chopped onions (similar to what McDonalds uses that I dislike) - not grilled, just cooked. I just wish that at ordering they would have told us so that I could have politely thanked the girl and drove away to get food elsewhere. The next time I drive thru I will know to ask about the onions, otherwise this woud have been 5 star.
Great sliders. Tasty, unpretentious, consistent. Staff is friendly and accommodating.We've been bringing our son with multiple severe food allergies here for seven years. They're kind, and careful. It doesn't hurt that he loves the food - we all do.All of the burgers are recommended. Coneys are solid, but the dogs they use have an unusual sweetness so YMMV. Wife loves the fish, eldest loves the BLT and chili.Seriously - stop by and get food here.
Best burgers in the entire universe!!!! Literally!! The original belly buster is truly the nectar of the gods!!!my family has been coming to this places since the 50s. My grandfather came here as a kid, he brought my mother here when she was a kid, they both brought me here and a kid and my own children have been here as well. Definitely the best restaurant that ever has been or ever will be. Most delicious burgers, fries, shakes, chili and everything else on the menu. This is the 8th wonder of the world!
