4 times in a row in the last 2 months don’t have vegetarian chicken substitute option. And staff doesn’t know the menu to offer other vegetarian options.
Very friendly staff, clean facility, and great service. The food and smoothies were prepared as ordered and didn't take very long at all. Overall it was an excellent experience.
Old Food that was made with no effort. Just microwaved old chicken and flat bread was crunchy. Didn’t follow orders of including chipotle sauce after it was requested. Horrible customer service, not recommended and won’t come back.
I've seen a lot of complaints about this place but gave it a try anyway on Fri 5/20/22. I ordered the Jerk Caribbean Chicken Wrap, Smokey Grilled Cheese and the Avocolada smoothie. The smoothie was made to perfection and the wrap & sandwich was good.
I was there Sunday April 27th, and my food had hair in it. The staff and manager was so kind and apologetic, I took the credit for my meal. I went to redeem it the next Sunday may1st. I saw some of the same staff but a different manager. The young man that took my order did everything appropriately, then went to talk to the manager. She immediately starts yelling at him, waving her finger in his face and at his chest, walking toward him as he backed away from her. She said "WHAT ARE YOU DOING? WE DON'T JUST GIVE FREE FOOD OUT. " He shows her the book where my name and order was written. She rolls her eyes and goes to prepare it. When my order was up, she tosses it on the counter at me. I had to laugh, because that could have went a whole different way. But I said nothing and left. I'm writing this review not for me , but for the cashier. I have a child his age, and if their manager treated them that way, there would be a serious problem. I'm a higher advocate for kindness and respect. Our service worker s work hard, and deserves it the same way everyone else does. I would like to remain a customer, but I never want to see someone being treated that way again.
I say this with love " how is this place in business?"This location is sleepy and nothing I would ever recommend- however I have never understood why anyone would go to a Tropical Smoothie Cafe. Nothing is memorable.I realize it is a fairly popular chain with many locations so I assume maybe I am missing something. Give them a try as mine is just one opinion.
The food, employees, management, experience- everything was garbage. How do you screw up a salad? Its not even just this location either, its every location. I would rather eat at McDonalds, they're faster, smarter and food quality is even better....
Asked for no sugar and they made it with sugar. No big deal, accidents happen, let them know and they made another one quickly and apologized for the inconvenience. Would go back in a heartbeat with such considerate people working.
They can't control customers who refuse to wear masks, but preparing my food with no mask? I never knew because ai always get delivery. Walked in and was surprised to see no masks behind the counter.
Management is horrible and everything takes forever, I should not have to wait 20 minutes for a smoothie and a wrap when the shop isn’t busy, smoothies aren’t blended and they cheap out on wraps and sandwiches, go to the one on grand river in novi
