Sorry, I have been to their Dearborn store MANY times and never disappointed but this store in west Bloomfield - not happy.I bought the baklawa fingers and when I got them home...dry. I had to add the honey myself. Seems like they had forgot to put the honey over them or something. They weren’t stale, just missing the most important ingredient - that’s what makes it baklawa, the honey ! I’ll give them one more try but if it’s the same - I’ll let you know !

Best baklava in the US, period. This legendary, family enterprise lives up to the hype and then some. Prices are reasonable given the quality and authentic product. Shatila is fantastic when ordered and delivered cross country, but nothing beats eating these goodies fresh. Highest recommendation.

Delicious pastries, slices, and cakes. It is definitely worth the calories. Wish I would have come here sooner.

Great pastry store! This store is little more pricey than Shatila Dearborn! But very convenient! Staffs are very friendly!

I heard that they had really good baklava and I had a craving. They didn't disappoint! I highly recommend! They also sell cakes and gelato. I'll be sure to visit them in the summer!

Baklava is to die for. Super duper delicious. Drove 2hrs to get these deserts to satisfy my sweet craving ?Highly recommended . Family owned store.

Ahmed was fantastic help, especially with busy traffic in the store he could help me quickly. Thank you and happy holidays.

I jewel in Detroit. Baklava is great. They have middle eastern and western style bakeries. Both great. Every time I visit the city I come here. I usually buy gift for friends. Highly recommended.

For the past 10 years I have had great Shatila bakery goods. But, this past week the baklava is not fully baked, the dough is raw. When we discussed with them they said that is their product! You can’t serve undercooked food! They need to fix this immediately or they will lose their customers to illness. It’s a health concern and it tastes awful!!!

Good place for Baklawa. Some pastries and ice cream is also good.
