I've been here a few times over the past decade and it WAS pretty good. Went again tonight because the sushi place a mile away had a 40 minute wait and this one we walked right into a mostly empty restaurant on a Friday night at 7:30pm. Sadly, the sushi fish tasted OLD and really bad. We couldn't even eat more than a few pieces of each roll before we realized all of them were bad, it wasn't just one fluke. We told the manager and he told us the fish was "fresh from today"... I'm not sure who their supplier is then, because that was certainly not fresh. The manager was receptive, but sadly the food was just not good enough to justify ever returning.
This was my first time here. This food was EVERYTHING. Best hibachi I've had.
Used to be the place to eat at. But seems to have gone downhill recently. Please, for the love of god, change your chicken supplier. Chicken should not have a rough cartilage texture to it. The pros of this place is it is actually open, unlike most restaurants now and days, and they partake in food delivery platforms. But food quality wise, needs to do better.
Good hibachi, the grills could be cleaner though.
Not worth the price. + they charged me $8 for not buying hibachi food while the rest of the table did. I bought sushi as my dinner but has a bite from my girlfriends plate. So, on top of being overpriced they try to find ways to charge more. I can add more details but I’ll leave it at that.
I was headed back from the gym and needed a five star dinner. Samurai Steakhouse is very high quality and the service is outstanding! Can't wait to dine in again.
Seated immediately at our reservation time, accommodations for eleven people plus a high chaired child. Quick, friendly, attentive service. Our chef was Albert, he made us laugh, played games with us, cooked steak to each person’s individual liking, hot & fresh.Waiter was prompt, correct on all orders and friendly, sorry I forget his name tho he had those drinks refilled before our last sips. Chef and waiter were extremely patient with the four children in our group.Restaurant was well kept, I did not visit the powder room however overheard ladies was messy and needed a once over.Overall a nice experience for such a large group, I would recommend Samurai Steakhouse for your big birthday celebration or even just an afternoon lunch.
Great food but super stingy about there sauces ordered carry out and was going to be charged $2 for the smallest size sauce known to man. Absolutely ridiculous!
Good portion - generous on protein and the variety of vegetables. A little too saucy for my liking. Prices are higher too.
It was ok. Not worth the price. They are stingy with their sauces. Even if you pay for extra sauces. The onion soup is just beef broth with mushrooms and green onions. The whole hibachi dinner barely had any flavor to it. We asked for med rare steak; we got well done.Just not worth it in my opinion and you are not getting what you pay for.
