Great atmosphere. Pleasant staff. Pizza was good. Dough was fresh. Bosco sticks a bit underwhelming. It was good, probably deserves 4 stars but if you're gonna have a pizza joint in metro Detroit you gotta stand out. Crispellis doesn't stand out.
Last week our clinic went to a pizza making class at Crispelli’s Pizzeria and Bakery. What a great experience! The restaurant was beautiful. The pizzeria employees were very welcoming and made us feel comfortable.It was fun to hang out with our co-workers for an hour outside of the clinic and to learn something new and interesting.It was really cool to be in the kitchen (of course we followed the kitchen rules including wearing gloves). I liked that they showed us how to toss the dough, and I learned that is called “stretching” the dough. The pizza oven is amazing.It was fun!It was the best pizza I ever had! And not just because I made it…all of the toping options were so fresh and tasty.A uniquely fun gourmet experience - loved it!
With new management & all new staff due to new management. We use to go here 1 or 2 times a week for a quick salad or pizza. We’re there tonight & service was ok, waited over 30 minutes after salad for pizza, usually 10-15. It’s gotten continuously worse over that few months & talking to those we know that work there, they all said they were leaving/left because of management. lot of wait staff standing around rather than checking on customers. We won’t be going much anymore…if we really want their pizza will go to Clarkston where the best manager is. Aaron you are missed. Sad that it’s gone down in service. It was always a fun atmosphere & run so well.
I was very disappointed with the experience. I ordered the Mediterranean salad and that was good, but the pizza itself was mediocre. What really left a bad taste in my mouth was that they could not find which table my pizza went to, so they just left it in the back.I had come in with a party of 10, I was the one who ordered for everyone. The person who took my order acknowledged I was sitting with the large party. After everyone in the party had gotten their pizzas and were half way through I went to check on mine.The girl said it should be there when it was done, that they make sure to bring it out immediately upon being baked. I explained that everyone but me had theirs and another worker goes "Oh! Your pizza is in the back." As she brought it out she explained to me what happened.Pizza was cold, and definitely did not have the extra ingredient I requested. I regret not asking for a refund.
I had lunch today at Crispelli's in West Bloomfiels. They made a couple of small mistakes with my order. The chef came out and apologized as well as the cashier . It's so refreshing to see that the art of customer service is still alive and well. They remade my order and the food was amazing. If you're looking for outstanding customer service, and great food Crispelli's is your place!
Tried this pizzeria today since I was posted nearby. Food was great! Was a little surprised at the price, but for great pizza, you can't complain.This location was very clean, staff were friendly, and service with a smile. The wait for the food to be prepared was not long - but they weren't really busy at the time.Only other note: was that there crushed red pepper was very mild.Overall, if I'm in the area again - I would definitely return.
Delicious salmon plank sandwich! I would give 5 stars but they had zero table service for lunch so I'm giving 4. The order process was fine, I just like to go to a sit down restaurant for table service is all. But I'll be back! The salads and pizza here are delicious ?
I like Crispellis, but wish they could be consistent. Dined in today and was presented with a completely black pie. I looked at the waitress, like really? You’re expecting me to eat this? I asked her for one that wasn't burned. Without an apology, she simply said “sure.” I then had to wait another 20 minutes. This isnt the first time Ive had this experience.
Absolutely love this place! I've gone here many, many times and everyone is super kind and the food is always super tasty! I'm often blown away by how fresh the pizza is - If I didn't know better, I would think there was some secret wheat farm under those counters!I will say that the layout of the restaurant is very nice; feels very "modern" Italian, which is a refreshing view from a lot of "old school" Italian pizza places, although the taste would make you think it was some family special recipe!The only nitpick I have is that sometimes they have self-seated options and new customers seem to find the process confusing for some reason, but I don't know if that's really the fault of the restaurant.Overall, if you're around (or maybe even willing to drive a bit out of the way), you should absolutely get the pizza there! I really like their Margherita pizza, but everything is pretty delicious!
clean. fast. verry good pizza. good price! don't miss the fried chicken pls! however becareful with customers around this area. We almost ends up into the fight with a white lady when we parked our car right in front of the restaurant. She humiliate us and curse us in front of the public because she thought we almost hit her grandkids but we never did. this area full of discriminate customers! be aware!
