I am a bbq addict. Love it all its forms. That being said this was not what I love. Smoke flavor is one thing but this was overwhelming. No meat taste, just smoke. Thought I was having wood .
We stumbled upon this place while over shopping in the United States from Canada. Great place. Kelly jo gave us fantastic service. We wanted to try the burnt ends so Jerome made sure to make some especially for us and brought them out to us personally. He was such a sweet guy. The food was delicious and the staff was top notch. I highly recommend this place and I’m sure we will be back.
We have been here several times over the years. They have completely renovated the bar and expanded their smoked meat. While we have not eaten here yet, we hope to soon. Kelly Joe the Bartender is excellent and super friendly. Looking forward to going back.
Don't ever call in. They'll just put you on hold and never come back, even though can hear everything in background. HORRIBLE ETHIC OF BUSINESS! At least tell me it's gonna be a 20 min wait till someone takes my order. So go there and after person in front of me, said wasn't taking any more orders. You couldn't just if told me that on the 20 min wait I was on the phone. Had to waste my time and gas. I would never recommend this horrible business to anyone just off of that.
They had a ½ pound burger with brisket in it. I may be a single guy, but having tasted this burger I'm pretty sure that's what love feels like. Loss of stars though because the lady taking my order asked me if I wanted to try her soup, and then charged me for it. I thought I was getting a sample. Won't fall for that one again. I had the Maverick burger though, with cheddar subbed for the pepper jack, and it was amazing! I picked up the classic burger for my boss and he said he'd rather have Five Guys. Some people just don't have good taste though. Anyways, I'm planning on going back here again. I seriously cut this burger in half and ate it in two sittings though. But it was good at lunch and again later for dinner! For those wondering about the Victory Soup, it was great! It was thicker like a chowder, great for colder weather and was just really satisfying. My only complaint with it was the way it was advertised to me at the counter as I thought I was getting a small sample for free. The serving size (cup) was decent for the $4 I was charged and it tasted great. I just didn't realize I was getting a full serving and was paying for it. Just some confusion at the counter.
I don't understand why they couldn't coordinate our two meals to come out at the same time. Either way, the chicken sandwich was great, but very disappointed in the brisket; served luke warm, tasteless and no bark.
Great place! Great food and cold drinks. Amber is the best. Their live music is a blast, hopefully Johnny Le plays one night.
Victory Inn has become our regular weekly go to after band practice. We come with a large group and Amber remembers our names and drinks! The food is excellent, the beer selection is great and always being updated and the service is spot on. Highly recommended!
Tried to order food for my family tonight. Asked to order a kids burger for my daughter, was told they are not allowed to do kids burgers for carry outs. I said i would go to the car to get her brought her in a was told the owner does not allow this. Had manager talking to me with bouncer standing over her trying to intimadate a 10 year old and myself. The cook finally relented and said what can we do to take care of you tonight. I said i would like a kids burger, then ordered brisket and was told they are out. I left order food elsewhere . While i was waiting i called back and ordered brisket. When i asked how come they didnt have when u was just in the bar they hung up in me. Love to hear from the order. maybe place kids meals not allowed on carry out s on menus. The bouncer really messed with my daughters anxiety thank you. Way to treat customers in this time of covid
Great food, great atmosphere, great staff...
