Ordered a very simple sub;12 in. Cold Cut on Italian bread with only mayo. Simple, right? How could you possibly mess this up? By handing out a VERY flakey sub bun as well as DRENCHED with mayo!!! I didn't have time to turn around and go back, as I was working and headed for a meeting. So yes, I was eating and driving. Crumbs EVERYWHERE! Mayo all over my hand and arm.I said the previous visit to this location "I'll NEVER go back" (but I did) because they messed up all 3 subs on that visit ($35 order??♀️)I'll NEVER return to this location again!!!
The staff was polite. They aimed to please. One new one was training another. They need more help, but they were doing their very best . My three footlong sandwiches (chicken teriyaki) we're as delicious as àlwàys. Oh! The three sandwiches were not eaten all at once! They were to go.(smile)
This is literally just bread with a small amount of half the toppings i ordered. Markisha or markita, whatever her name was can not make a sub to save her life.
I feel for some of the people these days working in the food service industry. Underpaid, not enough employees to go around and a company that still expects profits under those conditions. So, this review really isn't because of the workers. They were busy between the inside and the drive through with only one person working. Things were dirty and slow. I went once, second time I just left. That's all I'll say.
This place is horrible. 1st and last time I ever go. Got two 6" subs. One toasted one not. Bread was stale, she toasted the wrong sandwich. Not fresh by any means. I know it's subway and my expectations should already be low, but holy cow. Even the chick that served us was rude. Waste of money, time, and now energy since I felt compelled to leave a review. Which I normally don't do. Save yourself the trouble and go eat an old boot or something. Bound to be better than this poor excuse of a over priced sandwich.
Went today to grab dinner for everyone. First problem the only bread they had was wheat or white we didn't want either of those but decided to go with white since everyone wanted subs tonight. Second the other coworker sees I'm holding a coupon and she proceeds to tell me they don't take coupons very snarky which I kindly told her yes you do. As she's angrily making a sub for the drive through customer. Third I then started telling the guy what subs I wanted and she snaps we don't have no chicken for that sub. So as I tell the guy hold on a minute let me see what else they want another drive through customer pulls up and the girl answered the window "what?" Needless to say I left without placing my order and I will absolutely never go back to this location! It has gone downhill the past couple months! Rude and disrespectful!
Was given a sub with heavy condiments. Asked for light and lady forgot to give me my change with the sub. Never choose this location for 10 bucks go across the street to City Burgers nice lunch deal.
I ordered two sandwiches at the kiosk. Both came with only meat. No toppings or condiments that were requested. I went back and we were offered new sandwiches. However, after looking at the condition of this place, I declined and asked for my $21.18 back: I was informed that the manager was gone and I would have to come back the next day. I said that I live a distance away and that wouldn’t be feasible.I then was told “That’s Michigan for ya.” Not even remotely sure what he meant by that.I stood there for twenty minutes before I eventually left. The food in the containers looked absolutely rotten and I did not want my son or myself to touch it.I will be reporting them to the health department. SoGross
This Subway is more expensive than the Grosse Pointe and Eastpointe locations! My fiancee was VERY disappointed about the Hoover and 11 Mile location! But my question is this! Why does the female employee believe that loudly smacking gum while waiting on the customer is somehow seen as a professional thing to do? Does anyone know that this is Rude?!!? Oh yeah, why does this location not have the Sub of The Day like the aforementioned locations?!!? Maybe I should have given this a "Zero" stars instead of Two!!!
Prices are higher but so is the quality. Courteous knowledgeable sandwich makers.
