Cant even describe what happened. BURNT naan. My dad mom could not eat. Super angry. And got charged wrong amount and top of that the front girl when I asked to refund and re charge she said sorry we can’t do that. I asked for manager she said they left. Long story short I asked for manager she got scared and stated also showing me major atittude. Never will come back period.
Food and service were great. After enjoying Bengali food in Hamtramck for decades, I was hesitant to go anywhere else. Pakora was a little different than I'm used to, but delicious. A single order of Vegetable Korma gave me multiple meals, and I can't say enough about the flavorful Onion Naan. Everything was delicious! Two different Servers could not have been more attentive to us. I look forward to returning.
Can’t stop coming back since I first tried it . Delicious

This is my absolute go to for Indian cuisine in the area. They never disappoint. I have tried many items on the menu (I have obviously visited many times) and am always pleased with the results. If you enjoy this ethnicity of food, you have to try it.
I had the worst experience with this business. My dad reserved their party hall about 4 weeks ahead of my party. When he booked, he was told the hall would be open all day and that we can stop in whenever before the party to set up as needed the day of. A week before my party, my decorator calls them to find out what time she can go to start setting up. She was told then that there was another party booked at their party hall up until an HOUR before my party started. After my decorator told me, my Dad called the person he reserved the hall through and was once again told that there was no other party booked and we were good to start setting up any time that day. I ended up calling the restaurant myself and was then told by the manager that there was in fact another party booked that day. My Dad has reserved the hall through the owner and the owner had no idea about the other party, which meant there was no communication between the owner and managers about who's booking what parties. I was later told that this apparently happens a lot with this place of business and that I shouldn't throw parties there. After this, the owner told us not to worry and that he would have the hall available for us to set up the day of my party and that he will take care of the other party. During that week, we went in and no one was available to talk. We called and no one answered. Finally, the day before my party, I went in and the way we were spoken to was extremely unprofessional and rude. The worker refused to acknowledge that they made a mistake and was instead telling me that my decorator would have more than enough time to set up in an hour. He went as far as to look at my decoration inspo pictures and said that it was too easy and even he could do it in under an hour. Then, he wanted to tell me that no guests would even show up on time so I shouldn't worry. I had to walk out at this point because if I didn't I would have argued with the man and I didn''t want to do that out of respect. I ended up finding a MUCH better restaurant that was willing to host my party last minute and the customer service was amazing. I will never ever recommend booking Royal Bengal for a party to anyone. If you're looking for a small venue for a small party, I would recommend Aladdin's Castle, which is where I ended up having my party. The restaurant decor was updated and modern and they were kind to my vendors and allowed them to set up with no rush or problems. Royal Bengal's employees need to work on communicating not only amongst themselves but with their customers as well. As a bride, I was heartbroken when I suddenly didn't have a venue the day before my event and the people responsible for that had no sense of remorse. I'm glad I didn't give them business and will be sure not to ever again.
First visit and largely impressed!First the bad, service was a bit awkward and I'm not convinced I got what I ordered exactly. I also asked for tea, but I had such an impression that it was such an imposition on them to make tea that it was quite shocking, after assuring them that I didn't mind waiting for it, they went ahead and made some for me. Heat levels of the dishes seemed to vary wildly, the starter I had was quite spicy, while the main that we shared was quite tepid comparatively in terms of heat/spice.The plus side, the portions are extremely generous and are very well prepared. The prices are very good for the quantity and quality of what you get.
Great food, the right price. Clean. Nice atmosphere. The waiter was excellent.
Most of the Indian restaurants around here are good but this is one of my favorites. Particularly appreciated the lunch buffet, but they have discontinued it due to the pandemic. They close from 1:30-3:00 on Fridays so the staff can attend Friday prayers at the mosque
