Went for the Fish and Chips per recommendations during Lent. The portions are huge, and the fish was very tasty. They have a huge restaurant menu, considering this is a very small older bar. The sever was excellent. We will return for the food for sure.
The food is awesome.But be carefull of the parking lot has some big pot holes where you can damage a tire and or wheel.The inside needs to have a major overhaul. The roof also leaks

Trashy bar. Rude staff, smells like a toilet, came in here with some friends. Everyone is drinking, One of my friends broke a glass in the bathroom, and the whole staff decided it was the end of the world and kicked all 4 of us out. I offered to pay for the glass and have been tipping all the workers 50% all night the charge $4 a drink and expect us not to A little rowdy. Not to mention its A bar. we were drunk but we were all being respectful and there was no issue other than the glass and a Karen wife owner.
Love this place! I go on Fridays and Saturdays and have a blast all the time.
I normally do not write review but I have to write this in respond to the review " Not So Great If You’re Asian". I considered myself as Asian American that came to this bar all the time and people, does not matter what you are, black white, yellow, there is no race car around this bar. People were very friendly, treating everyone like family. If there is any problem you can talk to the owner. I highly recommended this bar to everyone.
Tried it for the first time yesterday. $20 for wings and zucchini fries ended up being Coney Island quality but more expensive. Lady who took the order was nice though
Not So Great If You’re AsianAfter having been to Metro Bar many times with her co-workers, my wife and her friend decided to stop in for a celebratory drink this evening. Both are Filipinas in their twenties. After sitting at the bar and ordering their drinks, they were told that they wouldn’t be served. No explanation or justification, just an implied request to leave.I’m not saying there was anything nefarious at play, but…. the only thing unique about them was the color of their skin.So if you’re a white racist, this might be a great place to hang out. But for the rest of us, maybe not so much.
Bar atmosphere, filled with locals.Waitress was not notch, very attentive!Beer selection was good.Berger was good.
Really good food but in major need of a renovation. Great customer service and fun just needs some cosmetic work.
