Dan's Diner was fantastic the food was great, the biscuits and gravy are actually homemade not from a can and it was actually very very good. I will be returning there. I can't remember the waitress's name that we had but she was fantastic if she reads this review it was the four sisters I gather that she took care of and she was awesome. Keep up the awesome food and service.
Went here on 2 occasions with 2 separate people. First time my friend ordered chicken wings and they weren't cooked properly. She asked for a refund and was given a huge attitude from the cashier. Second time I went with another friend and she ordered a club sandwich that they charged 12 bucks for (no fries), she ordered a drink during the pickup exchange and was charged 3 bucks for that! Then the girl copped an attitude because my friend didn't leave a tip, when it was a carryout
They always have amazing food. The biscuits and gravy are incredible. They have the best service. I love this diner!!
Stopped here on the way home traveling and really enjoyed it. The food was delicious, everything was made to order. The wait was a little longer than expected but totally worth it. Staff was friendly although they were very busy. If I'm ever in Michigan again I will definitely be going to check them out again AND again.
Best breakfast in Macomb/Oakland County. Great food quality, great portion size, decent prices and great service. There usually is a wait for your food order if dining in because of the popularity of this diner, but it is well worth it. The atmosphere is a little loud, but very welcoming. A great place to have a great breakfast experience with the family. Very relaxed atmosphere where you can talk a little loud, have some good hearty laughs and have yourself a good time with family and friends.. and as an added bonus..They have cheesy potatoes if you don't want hash browns, but get there early or they will run out! The cheesy potatoes are so delicious.
Pros: Hot corned beef and wonderful service.Con: Onion ring batter too thick and came out way underdone. FYI I still ate them, but that said more about me than the actual onion ring
Wow. The food was so good that my friend tipped the cook! Seriously! We had breakfast & it was perfection. Great waitress, pretty busy place. Don't pass on this restaurant! It's a little out of my way but I will be back.
I like this diner! I only get on this side of town once a year. Many of the employees are long term. Which to me is a good sign.Bring your patience and be kind to the workers, as they have been hit with lack of staff too. But, the food is always fresh and customer service is with a smile.This place is always busy with dine in guests and/or customers waiting on take out.

It's okay It could be better I understand taking orders but you have to slow down and pace yourself cuz you could mess up cashing someone out or you could mess up on someone's order just because you're moving at a fast pace It's okay to slow down and take your time
