Have been coming here for years. A nice restaurant at 15 & Dequindre in Troy. A nice family pizzeria with great food and good help, always pleasant and happy to serve you. We go almost weekly, usually have antipasto salad(big enough for two) with a sweet dressing(homemade). They serve their hot garlic rolls, but my favorite. The pizza is delicious. This is a definite place you must go to. Their pasta is also very good, they are open 7 days a week.

I drive by this place all the time when I am going for tacos on taco Tuesday. So I decided to stop in and check it out on a Friday. Around the end of February.I was a little worried they would be busy and have to wait. I pulled in, and it was not that busy.I got seated right away, but it took a little bit before someone came to the table to wait on me.I ordered a medium pizza with Pepperoni and mushrooms. When the server brought my pizza, she said they accidentally made a large pizza instead of a medium one, and they were only going to charge me for a medium. The pizza was excellent. I love thinner-style pizza. When I say this, I do realize that places are short-staffed. They were not that busy, and I am unsure where the server went, but she never returned to check on me.I had to ask someone to get her so I could get a to-go box and my bill.I have half of the pizza left, and she brought me this small styrofoam to-go boxI asked if she had anything bigger she brought me another small Styrofoam container.I am not saying I would never come back, but one of the things I hate is getting held hostage at the end of your meal because the server disappeared.

Tried Tony's whole traveling for work. My favorite pizza is New York style and they were advertising that so I was very hopeful.I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and cheese bread. The cheese bread was not very good, it was very bland and no shipping sauce was included for it. The pizza was just alright, it was surprisingly cold. I arrived only 10 minutes after I ordered it and I was told it would take 20 minutes, so it is my guess that I got one that had been sitting waiting for another customer to pick it up. If my guess is accurate, I would have MUCH rather have waited for the fresh, hot pizza put in the oven for me. Time wasn't an issue at all for me, quality of my food is what I value most.So only 3 stars.

My mom and I went here for Mother's Day weekend to have dinner. We ordered the pizza (Tony's Special) and the mostaccioli. The pizza was so delicious and fresh. However, the mostaccioli could have been a bit more saucy (it was a little watered down, didn't stick to the pasta). Overall, the experience, food, and servers were amazing. Worth going back again.

Excellent pizza, cheese bread, and service. Classic old school Italian restaurant with lots of pasta dishes, ribs, chicken, and more on the menu. Decor is a blast from the past.

Food was great. Our group was huge and overwhelmed them a bit, but it was great

Went in for takeout, but now I'm a fan!Due to my diet, certain foods are rare "treats", but I had a major desire for several weeks for some good spaghetti. I wanted "Good" spaghetti, not some greasy spoons can-like version of it, nor did I want to spend $20 on a higher quality Italian joint that was more for the tablecloths then the food; similarly I do like going out or at least getting take-out when I have other appetites since I cook most meals myself at home. I relied on my fellow guides ratings and decided to give this place a try.The sauce was excellent. Not too sweet, not too runny, not globby, just right in both quantity and quality. If the pasta itself isn't home-made, it's so good you can't tell and was quite stomach pleasing. I hadn't expected the number of breadsticks I got to go, and they were amazing, again, if it's not home made dough, it's something that easily passes for it and that great in between crispy and soft bread. The closest thing I have to a complaint, and this is me stretching, is that I got the Spaghetti with Meatball, and for my own tastes, I wouldn't have minded if the meatball had a little more cooking time. It wasn't raw or anything, but I prefer them to be a little more cooked. Though again, this is a very minor nit (and in all likelihood, the next time I crave spaghetti, I'll just be getting meat sauce anyway).Friendly service, a location that even at night was easy enough to get in and out out, and a fair price for a great quantity and quality of food. I'm glad I gave them a try, you should too.

Absolutely top notch! Katie our waitress did a fantastic job. Quick service. Pizza was amazing!!!!! Breadsticks were delicious. The pizza sauce is phenomenal!!! Definitely a hidden gem. Worth a 90 min drive just to experience it. Clean restaurant. Can not wait to go back!

Tony's use to be great they had the best round pizza but last couple years the pizza has gone down hill. Less cheese,Less pepperoni SAD

Papa Tony's Pizza is the greatest!Have you noticed that Papa Tony's has started to really go uphill lately? It all started when they took the spinach pizza off of their menu and replaced it with a barbecue chicken pizza. Then they started selling grape soda. Papa Tony's is now the only place in town where you can get grape soda, so now I don't have to drink root beer anymore, and it's really not the same. And the soda water alwaysr mixes right with the syrup, so you never only get corn syrup sludge or soda water. They'll never give you a bad fountain soda experience so you'll have to pay for the canned soda, which costs twice as much.My last endorsement is about the napkins. You used to be able to only take two, but now Tony lets you have as many as you want, and he'll give you a friendly look. Thanks, Tony.
