Great first time experience here. The food was actually very delicious. My ribeye tasted real well. My daughter's coffee cured filet Mignon was very interestingly great. My wife's cold water salmon was also great. The bread rolls, au gratin potatoes were equally amazing. The steak rolls appetizers were great too. I highly recommend this place.
This was a pleasurable dining experience. The atmosphere was great. The restaurant was clean and the service was excellent. I will be returning very soon
The food and experience was amazing. Went for my birthday got prime rib with Gouda Mac and cheese., lobster bisque soup. , And deviled eggs. It was delicious. They also gave me a pice of cake for my birthday which was huge and soo Good.
The declor was well designed. It looked amazing.The drink was different and good. I have not seen many people do a Blood Orange drink well.The Lobster bisque was okay. It was more cream tasting than anything. It had a small amount of lobster on top and bread or anything. For the price of the soup, it was nothing special for the amount of soup and lobster you got.Since the person next to me at the bar fish order got screwed up . I tried their “specialty” steak and biscuits. Overall It was nothing special. The biscuits were okay but an overkill. The steak was very over cooked. I was guessing it was designed that way because they did ask how it was to be cooked. There were no sauces or anything. The parmesan fries were nothing special. It should have read Fries with a dash of parmesan. Only the top had parmesan. How they designed the plate, the biscuits got quart or the parmesan. In the end, I left a quarter for food on the plate. No ketchup or sauces offered. I wished for some of those biscuits with the soup.Once again Service was nothing special. It took awhile to get acknowledged. The manager had to remind them. I knew they were busy but a hello would be nice. It was okay service after that.Nothing to write home about.
The servers were very friendly and attentive, they got the orders right, they brought us a special treat because it was a special occasion for one member of the family.
Updating my review from my previous visit yesterday. I have dined at Stoney River many times, and have introduced many of my friends as well. For the most part the service and food would be great. However, yesterday the service was slow and the temperature of the food for as long as we waited was not hot. Our waitress was not very attentive to our table at all. Although it was Easter Sunday it was not that busy that the service should have been as it was. My husband overheard another table complaining about service to a manager. That table did not have the same server as we did but they weren't happy at all with their service. I really like Stoney River and I'm hoping things will return to how it was when I first begin dining there. Very professional and the service was unmatched.
This is our absolute favorite place!! Food is always great and very consistent. French onion soup is amazing. Carrot cake is out of this world! Can’t rave about this place enough.
This place has food and good service. If you go make sure you get the steak rolls they were amazing. The lemon drops were good too.
My husband took me here this evening for our anniversary. From the moment we walked in, it was euphoric. The greeter, hostesses, etc. were so friendly and genuine. Our waitress, Ramiza, was the best. She was attentive, kind, very smiley, and they all wished us a happy anniversary. The food was amazing. I had the French dip and my husband had the prime rib. Both were so delicious. Then we ordered dessert.... he got the cheesecake and I got the carrot cake. Um, if you love carrot cake, GO HERE! I could not believe how huge it was. It tasted so fresh. Thank goodness for take- home boxes bc there was no way we were finishing all that. ?. Then on our way out the door, they all said farewells and again told us they hope we enjoyed our anniversary. It was just very comfortable, relaxed, welcoming, and delicious. Will for sure be going back, sooner than later!
Backdate from 03/7/2020:Nice atmosphere and the food is awesome like very expensive high end steakhouse flavor awesome, except without the very expensive part. Tons of flavor from my steak shot through my mouth the minute it touched my tongue, the fried shrimp is massive both in taste and in physical size. Like at what point does the term "shrimp" no longer apply? Trust me tho I'm definitely not complaining especially at such a good price point. 10/10 will come again. In Michigan the title of my favorite now belongs to T-Bonz in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
