Prior to Smashburger in Troy closing their dining room I had gone there several times and always enjoyed (though overpriced) my burger and smashfries. After a long time not being able to dine in I found they were now open for that so a friend and I dropped by for lunch. Whoa. We both had the Truffle mushroom and swiss. Forget about it. Looked like it sat somewhere for hours and to top it off, it was as dry as dust. We both hated our burgers. I had my usual smashfries. Not crisp as in the past, floppy and tasteless! The location in Rochester closed. This one should, too.
Food is good, the burgers remind me of culvers butter burgers except for twice the amount of money. If you like culvers but like spending a bit more on it,then this is the place for you? Not to mention the kids meal burger was still pink,and absolutely plain,with zero options to even add lettuce. They dont want you modifying the kids burger because kids hate lettuce,pickles and condiments I suppose??♀️ In reality they want you buying the EVEN more expensive burger. This place is wack.
Some of the best burgers in town. Unique combinations of flavor and options. Definitely cone here instead of Red Robin. They don't let you order online, which is a minus, sorry. They are supposed to, but when you go online they say it's not available. Rosemary fries are great!
The food was awesome. The customer service was great! I left my wallet at home and thought I was going to have to go back for it, the manager took the time to show me how to use Doordash and schedule it as a pickup instead. Saved me time and gas! You don't find great customer service like that much anymore. I like that they smash the burger down so it isn't too thick to bite. I highly recommend Smashburger.
The only reason I gave 2 stars is because service was nice and food was made fast.I advice you not to eat here. This is my first time eating at smash burger I didn’t feel like driving all the way to five guys so I just tried this place.The buns were really dry and honestly I felt like all I was eating was the bread I could barley taste the meat I literally took off the bottom bun to eat my burger so I can enjoy the burger. It wasn’t tasty at all. Hopefully it’s just this location and not all smash burgers bc idk how they could still be open as a chain. First and last time. Bad food nasty burgers not good at all don’t waste your time or money please. GONTO FIVE GUYS OR JOE COOLS NEXT DOOR.
I went here on a recommendation and wasn't disappointed. The Baja spicy chicken sandwich was amazing and the smash fries were a great compliment to it with the rosemary seasoning they add to them. The spiciness of the sandwich was just right as well. For the amount of money fast food joints are charging now, I'll pick this spot over and over again, no question. Quality food and good prices. You can't beat that.
My bf and I had carry out this past weekend and we loved the burger, crispy chicken burger and the fries were amazing. Definitely will come back!
Highly upset I ordered a burger from here and I get back to work to eat and burger is still pink. I’m highly upset I’ve never gotten a pink burger from this location before; I’m highly disappointed!!!! After one bite my stomach is hurting. Did not finish food
The food is good, but not worth driving from extended distance. I was there once and don't need to return. No issues, just not my style. I would advise looking at the menu online before ordering for the first time. Enjoy!
Called 5 times over 7 days and they never answered the phone. I guess they dont do call in orders idk. Id love to try it but i cant wait for it very long, some of us work for a living.... j/k. K bye
