My wife and I just happened to stop here for lunch to eat on the patio. The pizza was amazing, but the atmosphere and specifically our server Rich was incredible. He was charming, attentive, and most importantly a pleasure to be around. He even stopped what he was doing and insisted he take a picture of my wife and I with her phone simply because “Life is good guys”. Life is good with people like you around Rich. Thanks for everything!
Don’t come here often but will be coming back soon. Rich was great! Best service We’ve had since before the pandemic.

I just had the meatiest and tender half rack of ribs ever with a baked potato! DELICIOUS!! The waiter was quick and very efficient. He definitely aimed to please however he could. Can't wait to come back again!
Had a small party there. Great waiter and a very spacious room. The pizza was amazing (square pizza withthick crust, tasty sauce and fresh toppings) and we had salad that was very fresh. They kept replenishing the beverage pitchers. Would definitely go there again for dinner and keep in mind for a party.
It took over an hour to seat us. They told us 30 minute wait. It was my son’s 8th birthday dinner. Worse service ever. When they finally sat us there were 10 empty tables.
We recently hosted a party and the staff provided excellent service and was very accommodating. Their extensive menu was helpful for many of our guests and everyone was very pleased with the evening. I will definitely come here again. Also, can't forgot to mention the Manager Kelly was awesome to work with!
Ordered the Super (5 items) and it tasted "OK", but it was far from the best pizza I've ever had. The antipasto salad was good with a lot of premium ingredients and the beverage selection was good. The menu is extensive with plenty to choose from besides pizza, and they're always running specials and have coupons so value is not a problem. The facility is comfortable and the service is great. Our server, "Leslie", did a great job and made sure that our dining experience was issue free.
Been coming here for many years. Service is usually, but not always, good. However the Shield’s Super pizza might be the best in Detroit; consistently excellent. I like it more than Buddy’s. If you haven’t tried it, you need to.
