The place lives up to the name premium matcha Cafe. Authentic matcha madness in every thing on the menu. Very customizable menu. Appetizing photos and large portions on every order. Tried their Golden Shogun, it’s a Matcha soft serve in a cone with golden leaf on the top. The golden leaf doesn’t have any flavor but the soft serve is great rich in Matcha flavor and not too sweet. The order was too big for me but i liked it otherwise. The Custard and Nutella Taiyaki were okayish. My friend ordered a Maiko Special with matcha ice cream and enjoyed her order. This place is a call for all the MATCHA LOVERS or anyone for the experience. I’m not sure if i’ll be going back !
They have dairy free milk options for my vegan friends!! I have had matcha Oreo frappe with soy milk here multiple times now and I can vouch that it tastes delicious each time! My parents had the taro coconut icecream (not vegan) in a chocolate waffle and they loved it as well. We visit here quite often now ❤️
Amazing Place, one of a kind Matcha dessert place in MI!! Loved their Miami Special!! Would definitely visit again and worth the 40 min drive!!
This is by far my favorite Matcha place in the area. Everything is tasty and has the proper amount of Matcha which I really love. I've been here many times and never dissapoints! Staff is very kind and helpful :)
The matcha flavor is powerful and pure. I am impressed with the amount of matcha in the soft serve. I had the Matcha and Ube Taro Maiko, with amazing variety of toppings! With Agar Jellies Customer service was exceptional in all aspects!
So glad to find out this Matcha cafe! The matcha soft serve is not too sweet and the taro flavor is very rich as well. All staff are super friendly! They also have some board games.
Everyone is always nice and Jimmy is my favorite. I ask for him every time I come in and he never seems to mind. He always greets with with a smile and is kind. Good food too but the service is 110% good
Got a basic matcha and Hokkaido cream froyo in a cup with koshian and a plain taiyaki. It was so good and so worth getting even in 10° weather, because it reminds me of Japan and Hawaii! My partner got a matcha latte float, which I will get next time and add different toppings. The matcha froyo flavor is authentic, real earthy matcha that I remember having in Japan. It's not the vanilla white chocolate matcha found in candy. I love that they kept the authentic flavors, catering to the local APIs who want the familiar flavors of home. We need more establishments like this in Metro Detroit. We will be back again!
Very cute coffee place. The staff was as sweet as their drinks. They had board games and big tables for hanging out with friends. The Maiko special was delicious and an experience to eat the many layers. there were plenty of mirrors and cute corners for selfies as well. bathroom was very clean!
Excellent food and service. I had the matcha froyo and it was smooth, creamy, and the perfect amount of sweetness without being overly so. There is such a wide variety of desserts I was pleasantly surprised! There is something for everyone to enjoy. Definitely one of my favorite dessert cafes ever!
