Excellent mom and pop! Extensive menu with many options. Big portions, fresh products with quick precise service and priced right. This place have only one thing missing some alcohol, hopefully business is good and that will be available soon. Definitely will be coming back and recommending to all my friends. ??
This is my new favorite sushi restaurant in Michigan. Incredibly fresh ingredients, the rolls were perfectly balanced, the staff was great and the food came out fast. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. We ordered the Chef Special, Las Vegas, S & T, and the Square Lake roll.
Great sushi. I had Kazoku Vegetable Roll, volcano roll, and Futo Maki which was especially delicious.At the time of this review(5/17/22) it's take out only, while they are doing renovations.
Ordered assortment of rolls and shrimp tempura. Best tempura I've ever tasted. The veggies were different than usual. Very delicious! Eggplant, pepper, kabocha squash and lotus root were tempura battered. Yummy! Favorite roll is cha-cha roll.
My BF and I tried this sushi recently - it was delicious! So fresh and tasty. If you love nigiri, this is the spot. The rolls are also big and the prices are great!
The menu is limited but the items has exceeded my expectations.I'm not a fan of cream cheese in my sushi, and they adjusted accordingly!Also, it's fairly priced!
I've been living in Troy for 12 years and I think have had sushi from every possible restaurant. Kazoku is hands down the best for take out. Not the best dining room experience, but for takeout you can't beat them. Their website is great and very intuitive for ordering online. One of the best website takeout ordering I've experienced.
kazoku sushi is seriously the best sushi I’ve ever had. Everything is SO FRESH and delicious. Also it’s super affordable, yet the quality of the sushi is beyond phenomenal. I wish I could give this place over 5 stars because it’s that amazing. It is a 40 minute drive from my house, but it is worth the drive. I will come here forever! Their shrimp tempura and American dream roll are my favorite rolls that I get everytime.
Best freaking sushi in all of Michigan (and I’ve tried a lot of sushi). This is a family-based restaurant based in Troy that serves authentic Japanese and Korean dishes. The owner is very friendly! I have never once felt dissatisfied getting Kazoku for a nice delicious dinner. I recommend the shrimp tempura roll, the shrimp tastes so fresh! I have attached a picture of their S&T roll which is also so good.
Called in an order of Hamachi (before 4:30 on a Friday). It was before they were open, but, luckily, they said they could do it, maybe even earlier. OK! They gave me the best parts of Hamachi! Ridiculous. Early orders get amazing parts of fish, too. My dad, even, said so. Thanks ? I pick up chunks at Noble (I can sashimi, too) I, but the taste quality is different. Very good.
