If the food wasn't so great, I'd give them one star. Service is terribly slow. They value no promptness. Waited 30 minutes for a server to show and this isn't the first time. I've eaten here dozens of times over the years, lunch and dinner. Generally service is slow, even in times the restaurant has been nearly empty (2 or 3 tables filled). Takeout is also very slow. The only things going for this restaurant is how great the food is and at a good price.
The atmosphere was not for us. Sunday afternoon celebrating our anniversary and it was club music and the place was dead. Food was very bland and over priced. Filet mignon was cooked to a good medium rare as ordered but had no flavor. The waitress was very nice but never tried or gave the opportunity to order another round of drinks. Also their take on the old fashion was all mixer and light whiskey but that could be just me I like a strong drink
We’ve eaten here three times, once for breakfast and twice for lunch, and were not impressed any of those times. Every time we’ve gone, we had to wait to be seated or acknowledged even though there were open tables and staff walking past the front counter.The food is ok, nothing special or memorable about it except it being expensive and always takes forever.The staff is not friendly or personable. They do not come back to the table to check on you, to see if you need anything or to tell you how much longer your food is going to be. During one visit, someone did actually come by with a pitcher of water to refill our water glasses but she spilled water all over the table. She never came back to wipe it up and we couldn’t get anyone to stop by our table to bring us extra napkins.
Great place! Great atmosphere! Highly recommend, every entry we ordered was delicious. Portion sizes were big! Prices were fair for the quality of food. So happy we tried this place.
Awesome lunch. The fish tacos were amazing. It was too hot in their patio section, since it was a sunny day, but nice area for our work get together.
Love this place! Great food, friendly service and if anything is wrong they make sure it’s fixed and that you leave satisfied. Amazing what they did with an old Big Boy restaurant with turning into a great little spot. Definitely recommend!!!
If i could give them more stars i would!!! The food was amazing, i loved the atmosphere, the music playing was great, and our server Denada was so kind and attentive. My friends and I love going into Jay Jays, they also have the best crepes :p
Food was overpriced didn't match up to what menu said online. An order that should have costed $35 ended up being over $50. I called and was basically told tough luck what do you want me to do. $9 for 5 mozzarella sticks that aren't even cooked properly...most money I've ever spent on mozz sticks in my life. Patty melt was greasy as all get out. Blt wasn't all that either bread was all soggy on all the sandwiches.
Love all of the food here! Great place to go for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert. Prices are great and so are the portions! There’s always a great variety to choose from on the menu.
Nothing really special....I did like the pricing on some of the items. The wrap was little dry in parts. Brussel sprouts were good. The drink was okay.Service at the beginning sucked. I saw them mostly talking in the back.
