Everything was excellent the service from Josh was amazing he didn’t have us waiting on anything. He is by far the best waiter I’ve encounter in awhile. I couldn’t stop talking about how pleased I was how he kept the drinks coming without us having to ask how he took the empty dishes from the table. Clearly they’re falling off…. They decided to allow a clearly NOT service animal to be in the restaurant. We had the pleasure of sitting across from them. The dog was literally eating off the kid’s plate. I was so disgusted. But it gets better… the dog then decided to frolick in the middle of the isle. The amount of hair in our food was so unacceptable. Our server never came back after dropping off our food so I flagged down another server to help us. She was INCREDIBLE. Shout out to Jamie. But truthfully… can you explain to me why my server or a manager never came to our table? The very kind server who helped me gave me a voucher and offered solutions but we were so disgusted and declined. The voucher went straight into the garbage. I will never go back. That was so unacceptable and for a manager to never stop by our table? Wow… and to make this story even better it was my husbands birthday. Enjoy your Alex’s salad with a side of dog hair honey! Really friendly and professional staff.Fantastic cocktails and wine selection.Food was mostly great, with some being good. A bit pricey for the portion size, but most of the dishes seem worth it.Recommend for the area.
First time eating at this establishment my coworker had told me about it the other day. What better time to come then celebrate my birthday here with my wife Kathy. First off let me tell you the appetizer which was homemade clam chowder was amazing! And I also had a Shirley Temple a k a kitty cocktail. It was really cool cuz I haven't had one of those in a very long time. What made our experience over the top was our server Bri. She was very professional had a very warm and upbeat energy to her and seemed genuinely interested in both of us. Not just because we came there to dine but because she had the pleasure of serving us. My wife and her chatted about different things such as her business /side business. Had a very good time. And you can't beat the price and quality of food! The pictures really don't do it justice. Definitely coming back again!
My favorite restaurant in town. I'm in love with Steak Burger. Very high quality with a unique sauce. The staff are friendly. It is better that you reserve in advance. Most of the time, they are fully booked.
Their steaks are good. The salmon salad was okay. I think the best J. Alexander’s is in Livonia, their food seems to taste much better.
Went there with my fam. My elder sis love this place and hyped it up. The starters was great. We ordered 5 starters. I really loved the Emerald Shrimp and the Mexico Spinach Con Queso. I enjoyed my med New York steak with the mac & cheese. Sadly the burger I ordered to-go along with my little sis and my bro-in-law's burgers was under. I ordered mines medium, They order theirs med well and it was inconsistent . The inside was just rare. My elder sis also said that her steak was med rare even though she order it med well ( it was redder than my medium steak ). I don't mind coming back with my elder sis but my other 2 sis and bro-in-law won't return. The waitresses was outstanding though
It was my first time eating at J. Alexander’s. I came here because I heard the food was great plus it was my birthday. Well I was dissatisfied with my food my potatoes was cold, chicken tasted dry. The waiter (Russell) was so awesome, he asked if I wanted anything else “without attitude.” This is the only reason I gave it a 5 star because of Russell the waiter, his kindness, customer service and his humbleness. Thanks Russell.
I have to say it has been a long time since I visited J Alexanders.It was certainly nothing that they did wrong. I think that because it is inside the mall is the only reason.Anywho it has been a long time. My boss brought me here for dinner because it was my 17th anniversary working for the company. He comes here quite a bit. One of the things I noticed the right way is that they had remodeled since I have been here. The place looks fantastic.We got seated, and our server Michael was right on time to get our drink orders.I have to say J Alexanders pours a pretty nice drink. I like to get Kettle One on the rocks, and sometimes places will skimp on it. Do a measured pour and charge you ten bucks. I think about what it costs per half-gallon, and I get I am out, and it's convenient. Anywho I am rambling on now. LOLWe started with an appetizer of Chips and Queso. It was delicious.For my entrée, I ordered a Filet with loaded baked potato, by the way, was fantastic.I again have to point out that Michael was Johnny on the spot with everything. Johnny was pretty awesome.
I had a wonderful dinner celebration with girlfriends here. First the reservation staff was extremely helpful to me. Second, Justin was the BEST SERVER EVER!!!!♥️♥️♥️♥️
