Great atmosphere and great food. Chicken schwarma is amazing!

A friend of mine went to place an order at 8:45p when they close at 9p. When she came in, the manager was sitting at the counter with another employee and in a very rude tone said they're closed. She told him the sign in the window was still lit up that said "Open" and their website said they're open until 9p. He said, "you clearly don't understand how restaurants work." ...And with that, they turned the stores lights off. ALL of the lights. Leaving her standing in the dark with two strange and angry men. They were rude, aggressive and made this a very uncomfortable situation for a 24 year old, urgent care worker coming off of a 12 hour shift at a hospital, just looking to get dinner...at a restaurant...within business hours...Surely, there's a better way to turn away the business of a paying customer but because of their behavior I won't be supporting this restaurant and I won't encourage anyone I know to support them either when we have so many other welcoming, friendly and truly great restaurants in this area. Besides, they apparently don't need any more customers anyways!

Have been here 3 times and cand consistently mediocre food but horrible service. The manager/owner more concerned with with playing social media videos on his phone in the restaurant then attending to his guests. The wait staff is worse with a poor attitude, inappropriate dress, and no sense of customer service. Instead waitstaff angry that another patron has come in to the restaurant. No check in after mediocre food served and had to find somebody to get the bill and pay. Fortunately there are many other middleastern food choices in the area so skip this one.

A very good restaurant with a subtle ambience and great food.! We were a group of 10 people so it was a little difficult to manage. You can call the restaurant in case you want to make a reservation but not mandatory. The quantity is pretty good for one person and they do not serve alcohol or beer. Overall it's a great place to experience some good Mediterranean cuisine.

I would leave 0 stars if I could. At 8:45 I walked into the restaurant for a carry out order. As stated online the restaurant closes at 9, and the open sign was still lit up. A worker was sitting at the bar and told me I could not place an order because they were closed. I stated it is 8:45 and the open sign is still on. He asks the guy in the kitchen something who states ‘sorry we’re closed’. I replied ‘the door was unlocked, I am standing here in your restaurant with 15 minutes before closing and your open sign is on. How can you tell me you’re closed?’ To which they shut off ALL the lights in the restaurant and it was pitch black, while I was still in the lobby. I will never be going to this restaurant ever again. That is not how you treat a person, your staff had complete disrespect toward me for shutting off the lights while I was still in the lobby.

No such luck with this type food in Cincinnati where I live.. But when we visit relatives in Troy, this restaurant is our first destination. I miss the shawarma, hummus, and everything else this wonderful cuisine offers.

This was my 1st lunch visit since the pandemic. I had called my order in ahead, shortly after they opened at 11am. I ordered 2 chicken shawarma’s and 2 small salads. Simple. He screwed that up. Only 1 salad made it into the bag. Had to go back in where the guy wanted to defend only one salad. Just fix it. I don’t want to debate? Again, I’m THE first customer in the door. That being said, if you thought my order was fresh and delicious, you’d be sadly mistaken. The chicken looked like it was left out at least a day or more as it was almost completely fossilized. I kept it long enough to snap these pics before tossing it in the trash. Even if it were free, I would not return. Ever. The service and the food was trash. Spend your money elsewhere.

Food was pretty good, nothing special. Service was a little slow.

Amazing food. Great service. We were all extremely impressed!!!
