Cozy vibes. Went randomly on a Thursday afternoon and didn't wait long for a table. Enjoyed one of their cucumber infused margaritas. Ordered the Hancho Nachos which were really tasty! Took a star off because parking can be a pain there.
I feel like this building is a new restaurant every time I come back to town to visit my parents. Let me tell you this is the most upscale vibe I've experienced at this location in the last decade. The top shelf classic margarita and white chicken enchiladas were delicious! I'm not huge on spicy stuff, so I really loved the cheesy/creaminess of the enchiladas. We also got the 3 salsas appetizer - the Peruvian green sauce had some heat to it, but it was so good I kept eating it anyway. Tres leches for dessert was the best - I didn't share any with anyone and I regret nothing.
I tried the taco party and it was okay. I definitely liked the double shell taco but the toppings overwhelmed the meat. Guac was mediocre. Chicken was the best, the rest of the meat I tried was okay. My friend got a chicken burrito which was huuuuge. Will be back again.
This is one of the rare gems that provides an atmosphere reminiscent of vacation + quality food/drinks & service! Shout out to Michelle for very attentive service ? There's plenty of space with patios & open air seating during the summer, in addition to the cozy booths or relaxed couch & fireplace areas. The higher quality tequilas, desserts & in-house barista are reasons to over-indulge, otherwise you wouldn't need to spend more than $30/person on a filling meal and cóctel to drink. I will be back to try everything on the menu, BET!
Very atmospheric location and great food, been there several time and always a good experience.
Really cool atmosphere and good drinks. However, the food is overpriced and average. They are strictly enforcing a 90 minute table limit so you feel pretty rushed. It was fine but I wouldn't go back.
Very pleasant employee's. Super nice helpful staff. Great coffee and baked goods. Alicia was particularly helpful. Also helpful with directions. Will definitely go again when we are in the vicinity. Welcoming, pleasant town.
Chips and salsa with fruit flavored margaritas are amazing!!! Tacos and burritos are the best and fresh ingredients… friendly wait staff and super fun decor. Suggest making a reservation
Yesterday I had my bridal shower at Gran Castor! I already loved this restaurant, but now this place will forever have a special place in my heart! The space is already decorated in a boho southwestern vibe so we really did not need to add much. We chose to do a taco bar and it tasted amazing! We had two cakes made, one for me and one for my sister for her birthday. We were just expecting a simple design, but they went above and beyond to create two beautiful masterpieces! My cake was vegan and it was the best vegan cake I’ve had. And my guests were also very impressed. The crew working was efficient and so kind to my guests. They allowed us to a play a Spotify playlist on the speakers which was great.I couldn’t recommend this place enough! I received so many compliments on the food, drinks, and how beautiful the place was. Thank you for making my bridal shower dreams come true!
