This is not Famous Dave's ribs! These ribs were not cooked over an open flame. They actually taste like they were frozen and then unthawed and put in the oven. If you are looking for the great taste of Famous Dave's ribs, then please do not order from Granite City/Famous Dave's, it is definitely not the real thing! Yuck! So disappointed ?!!!
I ordered on line with Grubhub the ribs were full of fat, the bake beans were not good, I usually order from the Roseville location which has very good food, as I stated the bean were bad and it seems as if someone ate half of them, the only reason for three stars is because the fries and chicken was okay, and because if they know a company is picking up food it should be package more secur, so I will not order from them again and I don't know if I will be using Grubhub again either.
This place DO NOT serve Famous Dave's food. The spareribs and pulled chicken (which wasn't pulled it was cut up pieces of chicken) was baked in the oven, there was no smoked flavor at all. If I could have given them a negative star I would have. The picture a piece of chicken from their pulled chicken sandwich.
I used to go to the one in Rochester when it was open so I thought I would give this a try.My chicken was dried out and cold - as was my corn. The corn bread was hard as well. The only thing hot was the beans and the brisket was like warm.When I got the food it had just came to the front of the restaurant from the kitchen so I don’t know how it was low that. Won’t order from here again.
The customer service was awesome Jalisa took care of everything. The first thing i observed was how she was able to communicate with both the staff and the customers. She was very pleasant.I can tell that she loves what she does. She's a really good manager. The front desk hostesses very friendly and professional, also.
Would not recommend. I placed a large online order directly from the Famous Dave's website at 11:00 am on Mother's Day for a 5 pm pickup, and I received confirmation that the order was processed and my credit card was charged. Just as we were going to pick up our meal, I happened to check my e-mail and saw that Famous Dave's sent a message saying my order was canceled at 4:35 pm and the reason given was "No famous orders." Why would they confirm my order if they weren't going to make the food?! We tried calling the restaurant (Granite City was the only number listed for them) to find out why they cancelled but the person on the phone couldn't give an answer and the manager was too busy to come to the phone. We were told a manager would call us back, but we haven't received a call yet. Totally disappointed in the lack of follow-up and we're reconsidering ever going back to Granite City as well since they share the kitchen and most likely the same staff.
If they can't do any better with the pick up concept operated.out of Granite City, they should close it. What a negative reflection on the famous Dave's brand. Food sits in the entry way -getting cold while the granite city staff waits on other customers. Ordered a feast for 2- 50% of the content was.missing. Had to go back in Granite city and wait for the rest of my order, while the other half of my order got cold. The first.hostess was not good. The manager was.great.and.resolved the shortages. Probably won't order famous Dave's from this ghost kitchen again
This location is extremely disappointing. Waited 20 minutes past the time they said it would be ready. Got home and our sides were wrong, half the muffins were missing and the food we had was overcooked and overseasoned. Called about the missing and incorrect food and told all they could do was discount a future order - as if I am planning to throw away more money at their location. Do not recommend!
I ordered Famous Dave’s for dinner. When checking my order, I noticed a item missing. The manager (Jessica) handled correcting my order immediately without hesitation. She was very apologetic, personable, kind, and helpful. I’m so glad that she was there! She’s awesome!!! Thanks Jessica! Also, the food was delicious.
All I can say is that I paid for a slab of ribs and i got ribs that's why I rated them a 2.... No signage for Famous Dave's on the building.Once I found out Famous Dave's was inside Granite City it still took another 15 minutes before wait staff came to the front counter to wait on myself and three other customers waiting to pick up their Meals by that time everything was. I had to call to the store to try to contact someone and let them know we were standing at the front waiting for our meals no one answer the phone
