Rooms were okay. Very business focused hotel and all of the rooms were sold out when we stayed. The hotel area was very central to everything in Troy.
Hotel was very clean and updated nicely. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The bed was the absolute worst mattress I have ever slept on, I have slept on Pull out couches that were more comfortable.
Great hotel, very clean, food is great. Staff were very helpful.
Really poorly ran, rude management, and they purposefully don't stock the vending machines on the floors where soda is $2, so you have to go to the main floor market and pay $3.50. Pretty pathetic when we are paying hundreds of dollars for the rooms.
I have never slept in a more uncomfortable bed ever at a hotel. I literally have back and beck pains from it. The pillows are the flattest ever. Even when stacking three on top of each other you’re still flat.. Also the outrageous $20 for breakfast per person!! Some scrambled eggs bacon sausage bagels and cream cheese and small boxes of cereal..come on now. The little convenient store that they have down there is so outrageously priced.
My experience with this Marriott hotel was simply okay. My partner and I arrived shortly after 2:00 p.m. The computer systems were down therefore, we had to wait about 15 minutes to get checked in. During the wait we mentioned to the front desk staff that my partner had a flight to catch and had to be at the airport by 4:00 p.m. Upon arrival at our room, we were dismayed to find hair on the pillows, comforter and sheets. Immediately, we contacted the front desk and requested new sheets and a clean comforter. Out of respect for the housekeeping staff (due to the pandemic) we decided to make our own bed. After getting settled in, I raced through rush hour traffic to get my partner to the airport on time. Later that night, I was scrolling through the Marriott TV menu and I noticed that this hotel offered shuttle rides to the airport.... Finding out this information was extremely frustrating. Upon arrival, we mentioned to the front desk staff that time was critical due to the fact I had to rush my partner to the airport. No one commented about the shuttle bus service that offers rides to the airport. The rooms are standard size, the bed sleeps comfortably however, the pillows are too soft and lumpy. I found numerous pubic hairs clinging to the inside of the room towels (glad I bought my own towels). Complimentary breakfast is not available. On the other hand, this hotel includes a restaurant that you can order service from. Housekeeping is only available if you request it. In addition, masks are optional if your vaccinated. There were a few parking spaces in front however, utilizing the parking garage (that is attached to the hotel) was a more convenient choice for me. I stayed at a Comfort Inn last Christmas while traveling and on Christmas morning, guest were greeted with small gift bags of complimentary water and treats. This hotel did not create that type of atmosphere. Furthermore, every time I walked into the lobby, I was met with looks from some of the hotel staff as if they were surprised to see me. Which leads me to determine that the looks were due to the color of my skin. I noticed that I got a few more stares than Caucasian guests. I assume my polite manner, expensive clothing, purses and heels were not enough to inform staff that I am a business woman. Nothing impressive stood out about this particular Marriott hotel. Therefore, I only took one picture of the lobby. The rooms are standard, the atmosphere is standard, and the customer service is lacking. The only good thing about this hotel is the convenient location with plenty of shopping malls and restaurants nearby. Next time I'm traveling within this area, I will not stay at this location.
Remember to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ .ᴄᴏᴍ when booking any resort. This website will compare countless booking web sites and normally will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is one of my favorites in this area. I have been staying here for years. If you stay for a few days you definitely will love it I'm sure! The staff are friendly, respond to requests quickly, wear masks and are attentive to any need. I am vaccinated but wear a mask due to health issues. I feel comfortable there. I always stay at Marriotts if they are available. A good second home when I need it.
My husband and I stayed here for his work party. The restaurant across the street from us. It was so nice to be able to have some drinks and we could literally walk. They had a shuttle so we didn’t have too. Very clean. I used to work at great wolf lodge in Texas and this was cleaner. No hair or trash anywhere. I hate hotels every since my experience of working in one. The things you see are bad. I was very impressed. Very nice selfie mirror. The shower was so beautiful. Very nice staff and bar. Thank you for our wonderful stay. We will definitely be back.
Great hotel! Good food for breakfast for $20 per person. The side effects are that the pillows were not comfortable but it’s a great place to stay for a vacation.
For a 4-star hotel, it has one of the worst customer services.I was a double charged for a night I stayed at this hotel.I understand that mistakes happen; so when I called the hotel about this, the indifference was evident in how the agent handled my problem. She wanted to divert solving the issue by transferring me to the billing department.I didn't call the billing department to make my reservation. So why waste your customers' time to solve your mistakes?Three days have passed without any follow-up.If I'm paying for a 4-star service, then this definitely was a ripoff.
