Frankly, it really wasn’t terrible. The service was alright, and the atmosphere was decent. As far as this location in question goes, the only complaint I have is that it is a bit small, but that really isn’t anything the staff can help. However, I was positively disappointed when it came to some of the food. Although the pizza was generally a hit, and the bread was pretty darn good, the smaller, non-pizza meals were honestly just sad. For example, the kids Mac and Cheese was NOT EVEN MADE WITH MACARONI and the cheese was AWFUL. I understand that kids meals have much lower standards, which makes sense since they are cheaper. But… it was just pitiful. The other pasta dishes I would also NEVER recommend. However, I won’t let myself give this a three or less star review, since it really wasn’t that bad; there were just a few menu items that were subpar, and I don’t want to take my personal problems with the company itself and it’s menu items out on the individual business. I would still recommend going for the pizza, which is a lot less overpriced than literally everything else.
Fast service, bread with dripping oil very tasty. Sorry that they ran out of zucchini pasta with Shrimp maybe next time.
We were seated right away. Our orders were correct and the food was delicious. Parris was our server and he took care of my family. He was very polite and professional. I highly recommend this location.
This place is a most. The food price-quality is really good. The tomate soup is amazing, you need to try it. I recommend to share 1 pizza and 2 cup soups for 2.
Extremely poor customer service. I’ve ordered online several times for my daughter who works in retail at the somerset collection. It is hard for her to order and eat her lunch in her short 30 minute break. Each time i was able to order a half salad and personal pizza for approx $18. Today my daughter ordered a half Thai salad and they charged her $18. She questioned that when she picked it up and was shocked how expensive a half salad was. She called me and asked if I thought that was correct. I called the store and spoke with a rude woman. She answered the phone hello. Wasn’t even sure if it was California pizza. Not professional at all!! So i called back to speak to a manager Angel. She was pleasant but said that the salad was expensive because my daughter added avocado. My daughter did not ask for avocado, when she ordered they said would you like avocado on your salad. No mention that it was a $3.50 up charge. I get it people make mistakes, however the server should have told her it was an up charge. Receipt does not show avocado $3.50. California pizzas mistake and they should of refunded her or offered her an other meal discounted. Very poor handling by Angel!! We will not return. $18 for half a chicken salad!!!
You simply the best, always fresh and delicious. Your salad is prepared and tasty to perfection not to take away from da Pizza that has been on my top 5 best of all time. Staff super friendly and accommodating, nothing I can add that world already does not know ;) keep up good job
very nice waiter. food good.
I had taken my mother here for the first time and she really enjoyed the food and service. Alisha was sweet and recommended a few items whisky we tried. My doesn’t eat pizza but really liked the food here and said shar will return. Great place to get good food while shopping.
Part of going to the Somerset collection for my family is usually the trip to California Pizza kitchen. We did not know how long we might have to wait but were told 20 minutes and it was even less time than that.We got two thin crust pizzas to share between three people and it was really delicious and we left satisfied and happy.Leftovers for school tomorrow for one of us was an extra treat.
Pizza was not really good: extremely greasy, too salty, lacking toppings… Anyone from Detroit region, please, suggest a decent pizza place with real Neapolitan pizza!
