The new location is so convenient for take out and still has the same great food as the old larger one. I love this place and have never had anything wasn't a fan of! Great staff as well!!
I ordered a spicy california roll and i got it plain like even the crab was so dry just tasted like sand. I also got a shrimp tempura roll which you cant go wrong with so I don’t have anything to say. Lastly I got the crab rangoons and let me tell you… they arent made in store and I received mine frozen on the inside so I asked for a box to take them home and reheat them. For three items I paid around $25 which isn’t worth it at all. I never write reviews especially bad ones but this was just terrible:/

Made an order over the phone for three items for carry-out. The total should have been $26.00. Went to Cafe Sushi, and the total was $40.00 at time of pick-up. The lady said that the prices went up, though their menu was not updated on their site. She and four other employees surrounded me as I tried to explain that someone should have stated over the phone the prices are incorrect (or had increased), to which the lady said there was no need to. Unprofessional from the staff as the lady started to raise her voice.To the staff/owner of Cafe Sushi. You need to be transparent. If your prices increased, that's fine, notify your customers, over the phone or in-person. Update your menu on your website with the new pricing. All of this could have been avoided had you been upfront with the expectation on the pricing changes. Do not raise your voice to your customers. They will not return to your business.
2 Years ago I would’ve given a five star, today since they moved to Maple and crooks they get one star because this place is filthy and the food is not the same and way over priced and there is no service. Not to mention the bathroom is so disgusting. Never again
Spicy tuna roll was tasteless and I do not believe they even put any tuna in it. It is just a blend of tasteless mush.
Not recommended for anyone. First of all, it is really over priced for the portion. I order 3 pieces of Scollops and 3 pieces of Salmon. They all came in like half of the portion. They all been sliced into 2 pieces and counted as 2. Also, Scollops are not fresh having really stromg fish taste and turned white like White Tuna color. Also, the soy sauce are super salty which is the cheapest they can get hold of. Will not go back and order again. If you have not tried this place, you can save your money go somewhere else because I just wasted my money and other people wont fall for it.
Stopped by for sushi. His was great.But I ordered Chinese cashew chicken. Not a single cashew and the fried nuggets were covered in a sauce that I later figured out was mayonnaise. They could have told us they were out of cashew. They were busy, so hopefully my order was a fluke.
Very good sushi and wonderful people. The owner is a very nice guy.
