Great dinner, loved the decor. Wait staff was not as inviting to our Black family, as they were to others.
Reserved in advance for party of 6 on a Friday. The food was delicious from vegetarian enchiladas to tamale dinner plates. We shared 3 desserts that had the perfect blend of moist and sweet, as well as the right balance of sweet with fried ice cream. Only suggestion there was to add cinnamon and sugar to the shell.

I really hate to write this as Iâm pretty sure the server was new. I come here often for friends birthdays â I live right across the street so itâs very convenient. Normally no matter how many people we bring and we have brought up to 16 people the service is usually as quick as it can be considering the circumstances. This time we had a brand-new waitress Iâve never seen she was very friendly very nice and had a great attitude. However to say that she was slow or confused we had a lot of difficulty wouldâve been an understatement we waited 30 minutes for her to separate checks which we said at the start to do to begin with , and she said she would do it at the end which is usually a headache which it was. then when she finally separated them and took our credit cards she disappeared for another 30 minutes. one of our friends had to go find her and ask what the hold up was because we did need to leave. It was 10:15 Pm the place closed at 10 she said your friend that cashed out for her margarita earlier even though she signed her credit card and did close out â we are having an issue closing out that portion of the tab. I have no idea what that means it also had nothing to do with the rest of our tabs and I donât know how else to address that but it was extremely inconvenient. thereâs only seven of us we had 4 checks ⦠not a â tonâ My other friend wouldâve been the 8t and she closed out earlier in the night ⦠so it wasnât a large group and I would say we waited a long time for her multiple times. She was very nice she was very pleasant I truly believe that she was just New and confusedâ- however it really did put a damper on experience because we all did need to leave and it was 1015 We were the only table left in the restaurant last night and we all really needed to get home to bed as we all work early Friday am. it was a disappointment to say the least We tried to make the most of it since it was my friends bday .

It was our second time meeting at Aldanaâs for margaritas, tacos, and conversation. We loved it both times, and are looking forward to our next get together! The decor is so cute- when you walk in the door you feel like you are on vacation. The food is authentic and delicious, and the drinks are TOO good!
The food and ambience is amazing. Ava, our server, made it extra special by making some awesome suggestions.
