Fresh, delicious and generous portions. Loved it! Best for takeout or a party of 2 as the seating is limited. Some of the best sushi we’ve had in northern MI; will definitely visit again. Highly recommend the poke bowl.
SO GOOD!! I ordered the bao and two sushi rolls: the seared salmon and spyder. Everything was fresh and thoughtfully made. Reasonable pricing for how good the food is. I am so full and still have leftovers.
We really enjoyed our dinner! We got a total of 6 rolls to share and our favorites were the hamachi wasabi roll and the rock ‘n’ roll. Didn’t take long to receive and staff was nice. Will be back :)
Avoid this place. I made a simple order yesterday, two bowls of ramen, two bao, and some wakame. Upon arriving home, I found only one bao, and at $5 each, I definitely felt scammed. I felt even more scammed when I found out it wasn't a bao, but some hipster taco made with bao dough for the shell. To make things worse, it had mayonnaise on it! Getting into the ramen, we could tell something wasn't right, but I ate mine anyway, while my wife dumped hers down the drain. She clearly made the right choice, as I spent the entire evening sick to my stomach. To sum things up, they stole from me (i.e. charged me for a good that was not provided) and what they did provide was not fit for human consumption. I definitely will not be going here again, and will be sharing this with everyone I know.
I’ve tried every sushi restaurant in the area, none of them come close to the quality of White on Rice. Every sushi roll tastes so fresh. Even if you don’t like sushi, I can almost guarantee you’d like theirs!

Every time I have tried to order food they are out of what I want. The last time we went, the lady working was incredibly rude and our food took 40 minutes past the 30 she told us. We finally got the food and it was mediocre. Just eh. Also way overpriced

WONDERFUL GLUTEN-FREE OPTION IN TRAVERSE CITY! Very conscious of allergies and gluten intolerances—sushi is EXCELLENT! Felt really safe ordering from them and never got sick. Love this place!
