I'm Mexican and I'm disappointed by the Mexican cuisine choices here so I ignored this place since it's more fusion but a Latino friend said its better than the authentic Mexican place here so I decided to try it.I got the quesadillas with pork and they were really basic, A slice of white cheese with meat is as basic as it gets. I'm rather disappointed here. Not even using shredded cheese..I also got the tamales, the three sisters one, cause I wanted to try one of them their fusion dishes and I thought it wasn't that great but i can see where they are going with it. Pouring the green sauce on it made it much better though.The guac and salsas were great. They didn't have horchata sadly but they did have Jarritos.For a Mexican place, I wouldn't go here but for a fusion place I would. I might try the other fusion things in the future.
This food is so authentic, full of flavor, and fills your belly! Highly recommend the burritos or tacos AND thr Verde salsa! Hands down one of the best spots in TC!

We recently ordered from Spanglish and everything was outstanding. While their online ordering system caused us some problems, calling them directly was seamless and their staff was friendly and helpful. The food was ready very quickly. Everything was flavorful and authentic. Their horchata was a great addition to our meal as well!
My third visit so far and I'm looking forward to the next. The tostadas, tamales, and chips and guacamole are all delicious. Online ordering and pick up were convenient, easy, and quick.

The wait was over an hour after paying for food, eventually asked for a refund ... Perhaps when they open back up to seating we shall try again.
We have wanted to try Spanglish and we were so glad we did! Only curb service now with online or phone ahead or even order at the door! We waited outside with others to pick up their food and all we giving rave reviews for the food! My husband ordered two beef tacos and I ordered a pork taco and pork tamale. All were outstanding! The spices used in both the tacos and tamales were not typical. We would definitely recommend Spanglish and we will definitely return when we are in the Traverse City area.
I been coming to Spanglish for Year's and have visit anytime in in Traverse City. The owner's and staff are amazing. Everything taste amazing. I am completely willing to drive 3hrs from Detroit just to come bget thier tamales band taco's. A must if you're in the area .
