Wonderful dinner to celebrate last night in TC. We tried Flying Noodle at 6:30 on a Sat night, and they said it would be 90 minutes. No thank you. We then tried Sorellina, which was so amazing that I had to write the review. First of all, it's a hidden gem on Front St because it blends in with the Chase Bank. That's good because you can get a seat. Secondly, the server was so kind to our family, even though it's a little bit fancy. She was great with the kids. The food was excellent, and the people watching was fun. Skip the hype of Flying Noodle, and walk down to Sorellina!

We ended up going here since the Flying Noodle couldn’t take orders due to their system being down. It was pretty good. Husband and I both got wine which were good house wines. I got the chicken Marsala and it was pretty good. There was something in it that had a bit of a bitter taste compared to other masalas I’ve had. My husband had the salmon which he said was good. We also got the chocolate cake since we were celebrating our anniversary and that was very good. Service was a bit slow took us almost two hours to get through the meal.

Our service was terrible. Alex was our server and showed she clearly did not care about our table at all. It took over 10 minutes just to be greeted and when she did she asked if she could get us drinks started. We said no but asked to put in appetizers (we had plenty of time to look at the menu at this point). She interrupted me to say she was only asking for drink orders. We said we weren’t getting drinks so she left our table to get drinks from all the other tables in the section (we were all sat at different times). She went to all those tables, got their drinks, corrected their drink orders then finally after 10 minutes came back to us asking what apps we wanted. We were reluctant to get apps at that point but was excited to try them so we did. We placed our apps and main course order at the same time stating we were hungry so could have it all submitted at once. They brought the apps out and after a very long time our dinner arrived. Which was clearly waited to submit until the rest of the section ordered because we all received our orders at the same time despite the huge time gap from placing the dinner orders. She never came to check on our table until it was time to ask for dessert. We said no and it took her forever to come back with the bill. We in no means wanted a fast food joint, but we did expect some sort of prompt service especially after the price we paid for honestly inadequate food. Not that she ever bothered even asking us how it was. Would not recommend this restaurant and would avoid this server at all cost. We have never had this type of service in Traverse City, we were HIGHLY disappointed. Coming from a past server I totally understand getting in the weeds and getting oversat, but if you can’t handle it tell your boss or at least have an ounce of sympathy for ruining an experience for your guests.

Great food and atmosphere. Bruschetta is worth ordering. The gamberetti and tips and fungi were amazing! Do yourself a favor and try Sorellina’s!

Food was wonderful and service amazing

Recent menu change was not for the good. Entertained 2 friends and both were still hungry. We even started with an appetizer.Portions very small and tastes were good-hum. Too bad. It has been a favorite for years, but we likely will not return.

Had an amaaaazing experience! Seth, our server, was extremely efficient, friendly, and informative! We were very impressed with the customer experience and overall environment! It was a Saturday night so they were very busy, but lacked in no sense of the term! We were seated immediately, the manager(Steven) was very involved, and the staff made sure our experience was seamless! Highly recommend to anyone in or coming to the area! Way to go Sorellina!!!

Incredible. Easy, quiet atmosphere, soft music good conversation. Absolutely delicious food. Probably my favorite place I've tried for Italian in all of Traverse City.

For the second year in a row, we enjoyed our anniversary dinner at Sorellinas. If anything, this years experience was better than last years, which also was excellent. My wife enjoyed the egg plant parmigiana while I had Salsiccia Italiana. Seth was our waiter and was friendly and helpful. Thanks to Sorellinas and Seth for helping to make our anniversary celebration a memorable one.

What an amazing experience. Maxwell was our server. He had great knowledge of the wine and the items on the menu. Sorellina was clean, professional and the cuisine was superb.
