I ordered takeout from here and was very pleased…hot and very flavorful. I placed my order online and received text updates on status. I had the mushroom and Swiss cheese burger, along with sweet potato fries and a chocolate malt. Each was excellent and I would definitely stop here on future trips to Traverse City. I will mention that the burger patties run on the thin side - so heavier appetites might want to order the sandwich as a “double”. Don’t get me wrong, I was plenty full after my meal, but wanted folks to be aware the size of the burger meat.
GREAT FOOD all around and PET FRIENDLY!A seemingly small restaurant in a house but with big flavors. These are the types of burgers i LOVE, brown bag greasy burgers.I had the Slabtown special along with there home made fries and was not disappointed. They also serve locally brewed soda with free refills. My wife and I tried a little of all of them and they were all great!Parking is available on the two adjacent streets. You can either eat inside or outside where you can also dine with your four legged friends!Would eat again.
Quick service and delicious food! Had the rodeo burger and fries. Next time I’m getting the chili cheese burger. Only a few tables inside but lots of outdoor seating.

Visiting family in the area and found this place on Google. Tried it out as I would consider myself a burger connoisseur. Went for the slabby patty and it did not disappoint, stuffed with cheese, fresh ground burger could tell it wasn't frozen which is a relief because it seems that is so hard to find anywhere now. Also chose chili cheese fries. The house cut fries were delicious by itself chili however tasted processed but you could tell they tried to remedy the taste with grilled onions and added seasonings. Cheese on fries was good but I would suggest getting regular fries instead as they were tasty and properly salted. Overall everything was great and service was excellent would recommend this place 10/10.
Took my family here while on a day trip to TC. All 5 of us said it’s our new favorite restaurant. The burgers are great. Sweet potato fries are crispy and portioned well with a really good dipping sauce. Tons of shake flavors! Awesome location and set up. Only thing they could use is a little more space to sit.Top notch. Definitely worth a visit.
Seriously amazing. Best burger I’ve had. First time in Traverse City and the reviews live up to the hype! The fountain drinks were amazing and from I’m assuming a local company. I will be craving this burger until we can come visit again! Must try!
