We went early, like 4 o'clock. Was seated almost immediately. Sofia was our server. She was friendly and helped with suggestions for dinner. Wife had shrimp tacos and I had the Brazilian steak. Both were amazing. Also Sofia helped us out with low carb friendly red bel pepper strips instead of chips.Highly recommend.

The waitress was super helpful and friendly! I loved the outdoor seating environment, as the restaurant was located just off the lake and near Traverse City. This restaurant has everything from Jamaican jerk bowls to fajitas and habanero jerk seasoned red snapper. Had a couple tequila shots too as well. Definitely someplace I would recommend for anyone who wants to try great Mexican food!

Our family came here from dinner after seeing reviews on TripAdvisor for a new Mexican restaurant in the area. We saw the menu online and liked what they had to offer so we decided to go. First of all only a few of the items that are listed online are actually there the rest of them which are the things that we are looking for are not even available or on the menu anymore so don’t go by the menu online. Second of all we ordered shrimp tacos and two variations of chicken tacos of which every single item was insanely spicy it was impossible to finish. Our daughter got a beef taco and hers was very spicy as well which is unusual for a child item. She got fries with hers which where unusual soggy tasting fries. Our dinner was insanely expensive for the little amount of food that we got in at once the waitress ever ask if we like the food or if we needed anything. We should’ve known when there were 10 to 12 visible employees sitting around chatting with each other and only two groups of people in the whole building. We will not be returning and would never recommend this to anyone.

Great assortment of Tacos and enchilada diners. Great atmosphere with an outstanding Drink menu and service. Highly recommended.

Cocktails- quite weak on the alcohol Dinner- beans and rice included in taco dinner literally equaled one and half to two TABLESPOONS of beans and rice each and that’s not much at all! Appetizer- armadillo eggs were very tasty Service- excellent

This was our first time to Red Mesa Grill and were not disappointed. I had the shredded beef and bean burrito and it was probably the best burrito I have had and I've had a lot. The flavor was amazing

Delicious food, fresh salsa and an awesome margarita menu. Everyone was really nice and helpful too! Wonderful experience and we will be back!

Food was great, staff was above average. I'll honestly say my wife and I didn't need entrees, the appetizers were enough to throw the entrees in a box for later... my app recommendations are the pork (????) With the cream cheese guacamole. Not hard to find on the menu.

Great service and great value for money. Very comfortable and the appetizers shrimps and the pork were delicious. Very surprised! Great job!

This is the worst taco I have ever had in my life. My mother and I stopped for carry out on 12/26 and the food was ready within 5 minutes, which was nice. However, what we received was not. Four tacos and some queso were $48. The tacos appeared to be canned meat and soaked through the shell with a fluid that is unknown. I ate half of mine before giving up. It then broke our garbage disposal trying to get rid of the heinous meat. We had to plunge it and dig it out with our hands. The entire house and our arms smelled of cat food as we dug it out. We let it go, however, I woke up with the worst stomach pain of my life and thought I was going to die, as the small amount of it I ate made it’s exit. I am unsure of how you mess up a taco, but they did.
