Our poor Poppycock was really struggling last year with the pandemic-employee crisis! You know what, if you can give me my favorite drink and some pita chips and Jarlsberg cheese, I will be as patient as a saint. Have been coming for 20 years a couple times a year. Always a go-to. How could we not support them when they're struggling and trying their best. Hoping this year they get more help, but planning to just get there earlier, or off times and deal with it, because we love this place.

Amazing meal tonight at Poppycocks! We had the pita and dips for an app, vegetarian stuffed pepper entree, and key lime pie for dessert.Absolutely incredible flavor in everything. My (meat eater) husband said “I never thought a stuffed pepper could taste this good.” And the key lime pie was by far the best we’ve ever had.Service was great as well!We will definitely be back ?

Amazing fooodd! I'll be honest, I just came here for their desserts but I felt weird just ordering that so I ordered an appetizer, which was the pita bread things and oh my god those pita bread thingies were freshhhhhhh and so great! I didn't expect them to work with the salsa dip but they did.Of course the desserts were great too! And the price wasn't that bad either!!

We had reservations and we we run early to dinner. Fortunately we could get in early for dinner at the bar. Excellent whitefish cakes for app, signature soup was excellent and the lamb Ravi was outstanding and large portion. Great place for dinner and nice atmosphere.

We didn't have a reservation and were thankful they had a table for 2 available a little before 8:00 on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was still packed and the noise level was higher than we usually prefer (hard to hear one another at times), but the food was delicious and beautifully presented. We had the Braised Short Ribs (very tender!) and the Grilled Salmon (the fried cauliflower/brussels sprouts/chickpeas combination was perfectly spicy and made for a unique, memorable dish). The service was excellent as well.

Great little restaurant. Quaint inside and the service was very good - especially our waitress Emily! Was seated quickly and service was prompt. I had the grilled salmon, and it was outstanding! I also had a drink called a Spirit Walker that was quite good! I definitely will visit their again if I'm ever that way again!!

We liked this place so much we came here twice in one week!! Their specials were excellent and we loved their soups. Very good service, Emily was great! Don't forget to get a delicious house-made dessert before leaving.

My wife and I came here for Valentines Day dinner. It was excellent. They have plenty of gluten-free options and several vegetarian options as well. The cauliflower appetizer was amazing. I had the key lime shrimp, and my wife had the seafood stew. Both were delicious. We are locals, and this was our first time visiting Poppycocks. We will definitely come back. Two thumbs up.

This place is located in the center of downtown Traverse City. The place is cozy and has friendly staff. We ordered an spicy fries appetizer the chicken soup and tomato basil they were great! I got a burger it was a bit dry, kids got a pasta plate and they enjoyed it. Be ready to pay.

The cauliflower & Brussels sprouts appetizer tasted amazing with multiple flavors that paired perfectly. (Sweet crunchy, little spicy , creamy and savory). The carrot cocktail was also very deliciously unique. Large portions. Inventive food choices.
