Are you kidding me!...I have been going there for 26 years. This is the number one place on the east side of Traverse City. Good food, good atmosphere, and good people working there.Their wings and Pizza are super good just like the rest of the menu.The original owner (George) has sold to another local resident but he is still there most evenings which tells you something about the people who work there and the patrons who visit.
To be fair it was Super Bowl night, and we haven’t ordered from here in awhile. We were craving charbroiled wings, their signature seasoning. The wait for online orders was almost an hour and a half which is expected on such a busy day, our order was pretty close to being on time. Smelled amazing on the way home, the seasoning was definitely on point! What we didn’t expect was after all the waiting they were so overcooked and dry that they were basically inedible. The difference between biting into queso dip on tortilla chips and charbroiled wings was negligible… borderline Christmas Vacation turkey dinner.I hope this was just a busy game day accident and not a regular occurrence, because the wings are absolutely amazing when cooked right. Either way this is just our honest opinion of what we got after all the waiting.

It was very busy and it took over an hour for food to arrive. When it finally came. The food was good enough for my tastes but I'd rather go to VI grill in Suttons Bay. It's better and has better service. When we wanted to pay. We had to wait for our server which was another 20 minutes. Will not be going again. I understand the lack of employees due to COVID-19 but 90 minutes for a burger is unacceptable. Even when busy. Incredible Mo's and VI Grill are never this slow!
Out on the trails of Kalkaska Michigan is a place called Peegeos. For years this place as been a destination when out on the snow trails and always worth it. Great food, warm setting, this place has what you need to warm up after being out for a while. No gut punching burgers here, their burgers are just the right amount moist. No greasy burgers here that will give you issues later. The staff is also awesome here and very helpful.
Waited 20 minutes just to get a drink order taken, when it was finally taken our waitress forgot 1 of the drinks ordered. We ordered an appetizer, that took forever and it was barely mediocre at best. Left without ordering anything else and will never go back.
Home cooked taste and fast pizza on Christmas Eve Wow! We ordered 4 pizzas and they had them ready in like 20 minutes. Saved us because the other place nearby was closed. Everything was fresh and delicious. Vegetarian options were good, like mushrooms, banana peppers and pineapple.. things that might be wet or smell funky elsewhere.. ALL awesome here. I give this place a 10/10.. thank you.
We were there over the weekend and had some phenomenal food! Service was excellent, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the food was bomb. Definitely coming back!
We have gotten meals and pizza. Can't fail with either. There cheese garlic bread is amazing. Not a typical bread. They are capable of seating a large party to a small party. We had the same waitress at two different visits during different months. Great lady and did a great meeting our needs.
Peegeos was a welcome and unexpected treat for dinner while hunting near Traverse City. It’s a quaint place reminiscent of days gone by, with lots of wood and homey furnishings. I drank a locally crafted root beer that was delicious. The cheese bread is bomb and the plates are all large; surely enough to feed the hungriest of hunters. If you owned a bar/grill in the woods, this is what you’d want to own! We’ll be back. Also if you’re thinking about selling let me know ;-)
