Walked over and picked up takeout twice while working Cherry Fest.Pizza is fantastic, but let me tell you the wings at Pangea's are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! The dry rub is fantastic, great flavor to them, had 1 order on Saturday, went back to order 2 more on Sunday!
Most everything was delicious, but the pizza felt a little disappointing because the chicken on it was so bland. It took away from the other amazing flavors. I'll have to order a pizza without chicken next time (because even with that slight disappointment, we will be back!)Also, to note, it gets really hot sitting near the ovens (which is logical, but we didn't really think about it until we were in the throughs of it) so if you are trying to stay cool, request a different spot!
We ordered a Buffalo chicken pizza, cheese pizza, and breadsticks. The Buffalo was good but was more of a spicy chicken than a buffalo, the cheese pizza was average, and the breadsticks were good. It was on the expensive side to feed a family of 6 (two adults, four kids).
Recently had a pizza there. Pangea's had always been my favorite: I like the setting, and I used to love the pizza. This time it was bland, nondescript. I was also disappointed that anchovy pizza is no longer offered.
I absolutely love Pangea's Pizza, but it will pricey. I believe we got 3 for around $70 dollars. Now, they were the specialty pizzas some with vegan cheese and cauliflower crust, but still… Nice to know that the cauliflower crust is vegan as well, because I know several pizza restaurants that have eggs or milk in the gluten-free crust. The pizza is so tasty & flavorful. I live almost two hours away from here, but would 100% drive there just to eat the pizza. We did dine in once & takeout, but when we did dine in, we sat on a beautiful rooftop over looking the downtown! The service was great & the wait time is not crazy.
We originally came for the deep dish pizza but they no longer serve it, however, we were not disappointed!! This was the best pizza I've ever had! We are in town visiting from Grand Rapids and are very impressed with the fresh dough and homemade pizza sauce and salad dressings. Make sure you also get the cheese bread! The service was also fantastic even with our 3 small children in tow! We will definitely be visiting again in the near future! Keep up the good work!
the pizza was fabulous. the wait staff was amazing and uncle John's apple blueberry cider was so good.
One of the best restaurants I've had the pleasure of visiting. Very clean environment and a warm welcome. We were seated quickly on the rooftop for dinner and our server Justin was so nice, friendly and quick-witted. Very fast service and the pizza and bread sticks are top-notch! Parking is easier in the lot to the north off M-37 than Front Street parallel spots.
We first ate here in 2013 and were amazed by the pizza, I have been dreaming of the pizza we had since then. They had an African influenced pizza with sweet potato and beans.Today the crust was much thicker, and the menu was a typical offering, nothing unique. I missed the uniqueness.
We had an all around great experience!!
