Had an early dinner there before Sheryl Crow on Saturday. Our first time here, we sat outside on the deck (they do have two small decks for outdoor seating in total can probably sit 4 tables of 4). The food was fantastic. Started with the whitefish dip and escargot. We each ordered something different: cherry bbq ribs and walleye rockefeller were delicious. Cute little place, nice bar area, would definitely go back.

FANTASTIC FOOD DRINK & SERVICE.We had our 1 year anniversary dinner on our first visit to Old Mission Tavern. Our server, Meg, was an absolute gem. She suggested the perfect wine pairing for my meal. The escargot was perfectly prepared and unbelievably delectable, the crabcakes were moist and the sauce was delicious, the foccassia was aromatic and unmatched. I got the tortellini with shrimp (per server suggestion) and the Alfredo sauce... OH MY GOSH.. THE ALFREDO!!!! I have never had Alfredo sauce that perfectly creamy, smooth, and flavorful in my entire life. Absolute chefs kiss. My husband had the prime rib which he says had amazing seasoning and flavor, cooked perfectly, and a hefty portion size. The mashed potatoes that came as his side were truly homemade style and felt like heaven. The entire restaurant is also an art gallery. So, as you eat artfully crafted food, you are surrounded by beautiful locally created art.We love this place and will return at the earliest opportunity.

Stopped in for a post-snowshoe snack. Both the Chicken and Beef Noodle Soups were out of this world good. Artichoke dip to die for and the Key Lime Pie off the charts! Our waitress Lily was super friendly, helpful and nice. Will definitely be back for a main course entree. The dinner menu was over the top - not what you’d expect for a place so far north on the peninsula. Super reasonable prices to top it off! Definitely worth the trip!

Fresh made bread and soups everyday they are open (closed Mondays and Tuesday’s). A great variety of options, relatively quick service, and local art available for viewing and purchase.

Excellent service, great burger! Def recommend

Visited the tavern while on vacation. Ordered the char-grilled prime rib and it was the best I've ever had!! 12oz steak looked more like 16oz (not complaining at all ?) along with potatoes and green beans. The meal was so good it touched my soul!!The service was awesome as well!

My husband and I stopped in here after visiting the lighthouse. We really enjoyed our meal. I had chili and a salad and my husband had the whitefish sandwich. The only issue was the fish was quite fishy. Everything else was great. My husband really liked the homemade coleslaw.

Little place bringing big flavor. Stopped in between winery visits. My food was in front of me in under 10 minutes. There is artwork decorating the place that is for sale that just adds an extra touch. I'd absolutely come back.

Beautiful little place with big flavor! The food was amazing. Pretty simple menu, utilizing local flavors. They offer a wide selection of local wines and beers. The atmosphere was quiet and perfect for a weekend lunch, surrounded by numerous pieces of art curated by local artists. A definite must-see for anyone who enjoys local flavors!

I'm so glad we started our day here. Excellent food in a relaxed but classy atmosphere.
